Joe Gibbs bringing the pain

anyone else see Joe call out Sean Salisbury?

Gibbs calls out Sean Salisbury

Buttnaked anyone? Just now on espn's draft coverage Gibbs starts out the discussion of the FA spree and the selection of McIntosh after trading up in second by letting it be known that Salisbury said he would walk fom Bristol, CT to the Washington Monument ass out if we made a run deep into the playoffs. Gibbs has guts, although he was just being comical.

What are we talking about? When did this happen? Did ESPN actually get around to highlighting the Washington Redskins?

Surely you jest.

Re: Gibbs calls out Sean Salisbury

Jerry Jones was asked what would happen if a issue had to be resolved between TO and Parcells. Jones initially responded, as to divert attention away from what was being asked, 'I would like to first say thanks to you for letting me being on the show. I really do appreciate that..."
What are we talking about? When did this happen? Did ESPN actually get around to highlighting the Washington Redskins?

Surely you jest.
Of course they didn't spend as much time as they did with Jerry Jones and DAL high powered offense but, they talked about new aquistions Lloyd and Randle El and how McIntosh fit into what we're doing.

Re: Gibbs calls out Sean Salisbury

I almost fell off the couch when I heard him open the conversation about Sean Salisbury. Before Tre could even get in a question....Joe goes, "Me and everybody here in Washington want to ask Sean a question." He said everybody here in Washington like twice.....I couldn't believe it!
Just (yesterday) on espn's draft coverage, Gibbs starts out an interview discussing WSHs FA spree and the selection of McIntosh after trading up in second round by letting it be known that he was holding Sean Salisbury accountable for what he said prior to wildcard weekend that he (Salisbury) would walk fom Bristol, CT to the Washington Monument buttnaked if we made a run into the playoffs...
That sums it up.

Okay, you know how they do the little segments with the coaches to get a feel for how the faired in the draft, key aquisitions, and so forth....most coaches that were being interviewed gave the usual, "we did well" or "we like this kid" type answers.

Gibbs, before Tre asked one question about anything....he almost cut him off, in fact.....went right into the Sean Salisbury statement from last year.
I'll try to paraphrase - Gibbs said, Everybody here in Washington have one question for Sean S., and I speak for everybody on this one. We're all dying to know, me and the organization, and everybody here knows about...he said he would walk from Bristol, Ct to D.C. butt naked if we went to the playoffs. And since we know Sean is a man of his word...we ALL want to know what happened?? Gibbs cackle...between responses...Tre...taken totally off guard....didn't say much before Gibbs chimed in again...and said we all want to know...finally Tre said, lightheartedly...well coach, I don't think that's a sight anyone want's to see? Gibbs cackle....Gibbs said well, just pass along the message....Tre said he would...

After the interview....Tre said wow, you never how these things are going to start out!!

I saw this exchange and it was classic. Gibbs kept on pressing Tre who was laughing cause he knew. Joe is the best, thanks Joe.

Re: Gibbs calls out Sean Salisbury

Gibbs definitely kept pressing him! It was so cool, he didn't let up until finally Tre changed the tone of the conversation. And Gibbs almost made him promise to make sure Sean got the message!! Classic!

Haha yes that freakin asshole, he got called out on ESPN, good, now I hope some of his faithful do some more research about the actually claims, and realize he isnt a man of his words. He isnt going to aknowledge it, bc hes too pussyshit, but he was probablly really pissed off, when he got called out by Gibbs.
