Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
I'm watching sportscenter and theres a fact or fiction segment with Darren Woodson and Mike Golic. The 3rd question, not to be confused with ?3, was "Fact or fiction, the Cowboys win the NFC East."
Darren Woodson, said fiction and went even a step further saying the Redskins take the division. Golic said fact, and rattled off some T.O. mumbo jumbo. I'm surprised that Woodson, "sold out his guys" (paraphrased) like that. Are you? |
Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
He's a realist. The man is a prophet and the most honest, inciteful broadcaster in the game.

Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
Golic graduated from Notre Dame. 'Nuff said. :Flush:

Yeah!! What he said!!! |
Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
i really like woodson as an analyst(even before he said that) he tries to be as fare as possible and thinks for him self. not like the rest of that crew
|
Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
Just another meaningless prediction....9/11/06 is when it all begins!
|
Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
I like how Golic was one of the three guys who decided that the Skins were the 3rd best team in the league but now he says they won't win the division. Good for him.

Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
Mike's just jealous of his brother Bob for being on Saved by the Bell: The College Years.
Not sure what's worse...Mike Golic's analysis or that godawful AM show he does with Greenie. |
Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
LOL good ,lets keep it this way . Nobody picks NY just like last year .:)
|
Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
What surprises me the most it some a few months back threw some trash talk about some rumor that Woodson was let go by ESPN and some made some lame jokes.
And now that he picks the Redskins he's a prophet a realist and a good analyst it's good that you give props to a guy that deserves it it just funny how easy perception changes. |

To me, that show is like the bigger older brother always trying to punk the younger puny brother...just never caught onto it. If I'm working from home, I'll flip it on TV for a bit, but it does get annoying to me. |

You were the younger brother growing up, weren't you? j/k :D I understand what you mean, though. I started listening to it on 980, then got XM so I could listen to it without static. |

They are pretty decent when it comes to discussing sports. I turn them off when they start on each other about personal hygiene or fashion or whatever. |
Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
Golic is loyal to Notre Dame and the Eagles... He is scared to ever go against the Eagles... He still has his Philly bridges that he doesn't not want to burn... Mostly Philly food establishments.

Hey, didn't you guys get spotted an extra home game last season? Not happening this season. 8-8, if you're VERY lucky. |

Re: Another day, another NFC East prediction from the Boys in Bristol
Remember, they were the away team. Even though they were playing in their stadium, in front of their fans, and got to get ready in their own locker room they had to call the coin toss. So, duh, they were the away team.
