I just went to the Giants fan site and they have a thread going titled, "Why The Redskins Won't...." They are talking big time smack.

I figured a counter-thread was in order. Feel free to pile on.

The Giants won't win the division because they don't have any healthy linebackers!!!!

Improving their team by getting the 3rd receiver from the Steelers, a discontent from the 49ers (who in case you haven't looked lately could use all the young talent in the world especially at the wide receiver position but considered Lloyd expendable), and a safety who will make what Santana did to Williams last year on Monday night a weekly occurence.
Oh, and why they'll suck for the next few years:
1. Once again they gave away their draft for the aforementioned players
2. Joe Gibbs won't stick around to much longer
3. Ownership will never learn what it takes to make a consistent competitor, last year was a product of the Eagle falling apart because they decided a year earlier to bring in a malcontent to play receiver...hope it works out as well for the Redskins as it did for the Eagles minus the SuperBowl appearance

its kinda confusing to even read the posts on that site. the sigs are endless. and if you look at the other threads they are all about how great Eli is. There is even one that suggests he is one of the top 5 qb's in the league. give me a break. they even go as far as to say they would take Eli over almost everyone except Peyton. bunch of effin homers if you ask me

I read the whole thread gibbs, that post was written by a skins fan patronizing all the giants on that board. Interestingly, there are some level headed gmen on their board, much like the people who don't scream at rexi and 5rings when they come around(however misguided those two are). I like it when they come by, makes me laugh.

Dog believe me, I went there after I became a member here because I wondered how they felt about signing Lavar. As you can see the outpouring of stupidity there is crazy. I believe I know the thread you're talking about. If a Giants fan, or a fan of any other team says anything less of the Giants are great, Eli will be the best quarterback in the history of the game, and the Giants are going to the Super Bowl then they scream that you have no football knowledge. It's amazing. I understand that they are homers and everything but here for the most part we are objective when it comes to the skins. There it's different, it's an addiction to read what they say. The way I talked about Lavar that's exactly the way they speak about him except they are being honest. It's really fun now that he's hurt and (not the fact that he's hurt) because now all of a sudden they knew this would happen when about a month or two ago when all he did was talk they were creaming in their pants. I heard that he was never hurt and that the Skins lied and now they are HAPPY with him playing about 7 games this year !
