Yeah, he was a Texans reject that Dallas signed in the off-season for "veteran presence". But he has been crappy all through camp and preseason and the rookie Watkins got the start over Coleman and Davis on Monday night. The writing was on the wall for his release well before this news hit the wire....this just makes it easier on the club. Same reason we dumped Quincy Carter....substance abuse. And I'm not saying he's the only one who has. It is what it is though. |
