The best we can do? According to SI
Here is a link of the best we can possibly do this year.
SI.com - NFL Preview I would take a 13-3 record, but this pretty much says we are going to be in tight almost every game we play. Also I would take a loss to another team to beat Dallas twice instead. |
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
13-3 would be pretty damn nice
|
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
Agreed! I would take 12-4 with 2 wins over Dallas and a playoff berth
|
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
Again, I don't understand the SI logic. We're supposed to believe that the best case scenario involves Campbell starting in week 5 after Brunell leads the team to a 3-1 start?
Last time I checked, most NFL coaches don't bench a starter after going 3-1. They also don't usually consider a qb struggling if he has his team at 3-1...efficient, "not-losing", uninspired...these phrases all come to mind if a team is winning despite the qb position play, but not "struggling." My name isn't King though, so WTF do I know. |
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
Yeah that was the first thing that went through my head too. Why is Brunell struggling if we are 3-1, but maybe it is during that game he is sucking arse and then we put Campbell in... who knows. I also like how he says we put a game plan together for Peyton, but then it does not work cause we lose to him anyway.
But at the end of the day, I do not really care how it is done, but if we end up 13-3 or 12-4, that would be sweet.... |
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
Do we still hate this guy? He suddenly seems quite rational.

Yeah, but I'll take him over the other guy any day. |
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
13 wins would still not be enough for some of the people around here
|
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
Hell, 15 wins wouldn't be enough if we didn't end up at least getting to the Super Bowl. I need an excuse to go to Miami this winter!
|
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
are these guys talking out of their asses or what? 13 wins? piff...i see us going undefeated! :)

Re: The best we can do? According to SI
hey saden, welcome back. where have you been?
|
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
Saden went somewhere? He's been posting all month hasn't he?
|
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
best case every team goes 16-0.... i mean seriously, this whole thing is just another way to pander to every fan's homerism for easy ad sales. (i mean, the texans going 9-7? the titans 8-8 and in the playoffs?)
|
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
There is no way I can see the skins going 13-3. They are in a brutal division and they have a rather tough schedule. I see them going 10-6 maybe 11-5 (if they stay healthy) and winning the division.

I never understood that move. |
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
We will beat Indy. Theres a small talent discrepancy in our favor, and I believe that our defensive coaches can confuse Peyton ever so slightly.
|
Re: The best we can do? According to SI
pressure on manning is the key, gtripp. look how the steelers made out by getting to manning. i think we beat indy, too

Re: The best we can do? According to SI
I can't wait for this game. I'm really looking forward to it. I think G-Dub is as well. You know he's going to come with the thunder for this game.
