yeah that's the name that stands out to me. I was right with almost half my guesses in Espy, Harris, McCune, and White.

No Jimmy Farris either. Time for all the Farris Jock Sniffers to put pistols in their mouths. Now, some team will be able to snatch him up and wreak havoc on the rest of the league.

I wonder if Buck Ortega declined the invite to the p squad. Maybe he thinks hes off to bigger and better things.

i agree we need a blocking te and folks fauria isnt it...i see why the pats didnt re-sign him. the ortega thing has me a little baffled unless like someone else said he didnt accept p-squad invite

I cant beleive we didnt atleast sign Buck to the practice squad...there was talk of us drafing Fasano in the 2nd round of the draft this year. We end up with an undrafted guy with tons of talent...and we keep an old bum...

I never thought we should have drafted a receiving threat TE with our 2nd rd pick...becaseu we have cooley, but an undrafted guy...why not keep him

Ortega looked great catching passes but doesn't fit the TE position in the NFL. I don't recall seeing him blocking specifically but I'm guessing he was getting destroyed on Blocking assignments in practice. This is probably why we didn't even get him on the practice squad. I think we need some perspective I mean labelling a player TE but he only catches well really makes him a liability. The opposing team feels they can take advantage of the matchup on run plays and suspect pass when he's in.

I know other TE's are more pass catchers but they usually are at least decent blockers. Maybe Ortega was severely deficient at blocking to where they thought he was useless.

lol no more Walter Rasby please. How many times has he been cut by other teams. If nobody wants him, that's not a good thing. As for Ortega, maybe there's a reason that he went undrafted. Maybe the coaches saw something in him they didn't like.

I believe players with 3+ years in the league arent eligible for PS.

Ortega could not play special teams, u have to be able to play special team to get on this squad

Yeah, I think that with Saunder's scheme, using fewer two tight end sets and more two running back sets, that sellers can certainly get the job done there. If you take a careful look at the roster we are pretty loaded with running backs (for more two running back sets) and lighter on tight ends (for fewer two tight end sets). I think we have six running backs compared to two tight ends on the roster, so essentially, we have about three fullbacks and two tight ends.

i think the skins are planning to use mike sellers at tight end and fullback. hell, he weighs about 270lbs

farris and killings weren't eligible. farris already spent two years (skins/falcons) and killings is going to be 29.
