In other news, Jason Campbell is planning to retire after this season. He says he doesn't know what he will do life after football but he is leaning towards going to Tibbett and becoming a monk.

i didnt think the NFL had a steroid policy... or its atleast still setup so theres tons of stuff they dont test for...

I'm actually pretty surprised by this. And more than surprised I am saddened. I like Merriman. I like him cause I am (probably just temporarily) a Terp. I've always liked him and thought the Skins should have drafted him. Now, I don't really know what to think.

I'm in the same boat as you, except I'm just a UMD fan, not a graduate. He was my favorite player on the team for the last 2 seasons he was hear. I'm really disappointed by this one.

holy s***. that really sucks. now you gotta wonder how much of that was him playing and how much was steroids :/. I'm sure he's not the only one, but still.

oh and the chargers are now missing 4 of their front seven starters and might lose kiel (average SS) too. ouch on the chargers defense.

thatguy, as the old saying goes, time will tell. it wont be hard to see if there is a drop off in merrymens production when he comes back. because he was playing at a very high level with steroids
