TMC v. That Guy
Given the Skins' suckage lately, how about a lighter note:
Has anyone else noticed that That Guy is mounting a stealth charge to overtake Malcolm for the #2 spot in the post count? Sorry, Malc, but I've got to put my money on That Guy - he doesn't have the distraction of impending nuptials. How about a poll - first to 11k? |
Re: TMC v. That Guy
not sure i'm the safe money. i don't post at work, i avoid game threads, i don't get very involved in off-topic discussions... it's just not a very good a line. The only chance i have is extended draft talk and getting in fire fights with trolls.... btw, in lock-fire-troll, fire beats troll.

Re: TMC v. That Guy
Hmmm
My money is on That Guy. He has youth on his side. I hear a rumor that TMC is appealing a suspension for arthritic medicine. My cousin is a friend with a stripper who services a man who is engaged to a woman who waxes TMC's ass, She said that TMC has been taking alleve to help give him the edge over carpal tunnel. She says with the proper amount of alleve, TMC can post 4 or 5 times an hour. If the rumors are true, MattyK is going to suspend him for 4 weeks and 3 pies. |

Perhaps, but trolls are a lock, and, the way the Skins are playing right now, there's going to be a LOT of draft talk over the next couple of weeks, given the bye. |
Re: TMC v. That Guy
yeah, i wish we had combine numbers though, cause unofficial campus workouts and guesses just aren't as reliable, plus it's harder to see them play nfl competition outside of those workouts and the senior bowl. It's not about whether we trade down or chose CB our DT, it's about WHICH CB we're considering in the first place.

Re: TMC v. That Guy
VIVA LA REVOLUCION!
Glad I could catch this thread in it's infacy. Just wait until the draft rolls around. TG always overtakes me. |
Re: TMC v. That Guy
But for now, I'M the bag of potato chips.

Re: TMC v. That Guy

Re: TMC v. That Guy

RUNNING MAN!
Seriously that movie is so friggin awesome. Here is your Sub-Zero, now... plain zero! What happened to Buzz Saw? He had to split. |
Re: TMC v. That Guy
HAHAHAHA! Classic Arnold quotes....
|
Re: TMC v. That Guy
Anyone else ever notice that during the opening credits of Commando there is a shot of Arnold hand feeding a baby deer? It might be the weirdest moment in any Arnold movie (not counting Junior, because that was FUBAR).
WTF?!?!? |
Re: TMC v. That Guy
But Commando has some of the more bad ass moments. Like where he rolls out of that shed and proceeds to kill all 10 people surrounding it.

Doesn't he throw a circular saw blade like it's a frisbee at some dude's face? What about the line he says after his last kill? "Let off some steam." |
Re: TMC v. That Guy
HAHA! God, Arnold quotes are the stuff dreams are made of. Dammit, I wish he'd make more movies like that.
|
Re: TMC v. That Guy

Re: TMC v. That Guy
LOL, Arnold in Commando.
Excuse me, can I have a blanket and a pillow? Oh and please, don't disturb my friend, he's dead tired.

Matrix, did you leave anything for us? Just bodies.

If you want your daughter back, you're going to have to cooperate, right? Wrong! [BOOM].
|
Re: TMC v. That Guy
Commando is the shit. One in a long line of Ahnold movies that have many quotes in them.
Let off some steam, Bennett

I eat green berets for breakfast. And right now i'm very hungry

You steal my car, you rip the seat out, you kidnap me, you ask me to help you find your daughter which I very kindly do, and then you get me involved in a shoot out where people are dying and there's blood spurting all over the place, and then I watch you rip a phone booth out of a wall, swing from the ceiling like Tarzan, and then there's a cop that's going to shoot you and I save you and they start chasing me. Are you going to tell me what's going on or what? John Matrix: No.
|
Re: TMC v. That Guy
My favorite one is, "DYLAN! You sonofabitch. CIA got you pushin' too many PAPERS!?"
|
Re: TMC v. That Guy
Who is your daddy, and what does he do?

I just lost it after reading that one. Sir, you win! |
Re: TMC v. That Guy
Wow, after noticing that in only 2 years you are over 10k in posts, that means you post approx (by my crude mind calculations) 13-14 posts a day...how in the hell do you guys find the time for that?

Work? You work? I mean, I sit in a cubical in an office building all day long but I wouldn't say that I "work" per se. |
Re: TMC v. That Guy
I have my dual monitor set up with WP on one monitor and "work" stuff on the other. Minimize one and BAM, I'm doing work or posting.

|
Re: TMC v. That Guy
i am another one who posts while at work. i am a web manager, so i'm on the computer for 8 hours a day. since i stay away from a computer while at home, this is the only time I can contribute my 10% of TMC's output...
|
Re: TMC v. That Guy
To other's credit, many of my posts are to "lighten the mood". I tend to think of it as a morale booster when the season is in the shitter.

yep. after work, I try to stay as far away from computers as possible (doesn't always work out). I work with computers too, and there is actually a lot of time spent waiting for processes to finish, etc. (at least thats what I tell my boss ;)) |
