Working in DC

...I sure love working in DC, because when I go out to buy lunch there is always an old guy sitting on the corner somewhere wearing his Redskin jacket or hat... but this week there are MANY people wearing their Redskins gear... I love that.

Hail!

haha...I posted in the other thread, but to restate:

I'm a fan through and through but I do that...I can't bear to wear the colors when we lose, not because I'm embarrassed, simply because it reminds me of us losing...plus I don't like getting teased, idiot panther fans

They wear it when we win, the put it back in the closet when we lose. What part should I love?

Love the old guy sitting on the corner wearing his redskin hat whenever I go out to get something to eat, and love that when we beat Dallas that I see 100+ more people wearing their stuff (even though we have a losing record)....

I live in Miami but have a cousin (Eagles fan) who works at the Pentagon and he laughs at how if the Redskins win there are nothing but Redskins hats and jackets all week, but if we lose then everyone wears their regular clothes and is in a bad mood...

I wear skins shit all the time. Even after losses. I mean losing sucks and all, but I still show my support of the team I love. Always.

Re: Working in DC

I remember going xmas shopping last year after the dallas game, and it was like being in the parking lot at Fed Ex. I want to invent reversable NFL jerseys that can be one of two teams, cos these phonies need them. You could have skins/baltimore, eagles/steelers, giants/jets etc. If your team loses, just flip it inside out and you are cheering for the next closest squad. I think it would be a surefire money maker.

I sport my Skins gear all year round. I always wear or carry something with me to show my colors.

i'd love DC more if they could kill the traffic and get rid of all the displaced fans for every other team that live here ;).
