Week 11 picks
Ok this Upset thing has gone ridiculous I've thrown all my chart threw the window drop every analysis killed my gut, no more home field advantage and just think of the most unlikely scenario
Man it harder than it sound the voice of reason speaks to loud to just shut up lets See how I do this week still leading the pack which is comforting but want a better record I've got to be better than Peter King just got to lol (still am by the way for a lot even though he had a great week last week). ok on with the picks Atlanta at Baltimore -4 40.5 Which Vick will show up the 1 that played 2 weeks ago or the 1 that has lost to detroit and cleveland the past 2 weeks I go with the second hope it doesn't bite me in the ass but Baltimore is the better team the got back of a tough game last week won't let it happen again. Straight: Bal Spread: BAL OVR/UND: UND Buffalo at Houston -2 36.5 though matchup Houston is playing really well right now and Buffalo put for the second time a good fight against Ind their Def is really thought I just don't trust Losman without McGahee and last week they got a lot of help of ST and their Defense it's hard to do that 2 weeks in a row. Straight: HOU Spread: HOU OVR/UND: UND Chicago at New York Jets 7 38 UPSET OF THE WEEK Chicago beat a very broken New York team but Chad and that NJY defense it's playing really tough this is my first upset of the week Go JETS Straight: NYJ Spread: NYJ OVR/UND: OVR Cincinnati at New Orleans -3.5 51 I like what I saw of Palmer last week to bad that defense sucks both teams are playing great offense and with passion the difference is if Cin has any passion left the logic says NO and being that is the less injured team I've got to go with them but I smell an upset Straight: CIN Spread: CIN OVR/UND: UND Minnesota at Miami -3.5 34 Miami has woken up Harrington it's playing safe enough to not screw it for them Minnesota has lost it's way I go with miami Straight: MIA Spread: MIA OVR/UND: UND New England at Green Bay 6 44.5 1 week Favre plays good the other he doesn't No way NE loses 3 in a row I just don't see it Straight: NE Spread: NE OVR/UND: OVR Oakland at Kansas City -10 35.5 Home field advantage here is huge but oakland has played great defence the past 4 weeks and has kept games close division rivals always are tougher matchups Straight: KC Spread: OAK OVR/UND: OVR Pittsburgh at Cleveland 3.5 37.5 Cleveland played a good game against atlanta last week pittsburgh showed a lot of promise in a shout out with NO have to go with the champs Straight: PIt Spread: Pit OVR/UND: OVR St Louis at Carolina -6.5 44 Carolina it's plying good but not great and they're taking to much time to get going they needed a complete second half meltdown from tampa to win last week I'll go with them but it will be tough both teams have a lot to play for. Straight: CAR Spread: StL OVR/UND: Ovr Tennessee at Philadelphia -13 43 13 to huge for my blood V.Young it's making mistakes but it's playing with hearth and it turning this team in a bunch of overachievers Straight: Phi Spread: TEN OVR/UND: OVR Washington at Tampa Bay -3 34 Jason Campbell era begins bad time for Portis to get hurt he will run for his life all day bad time to begin their only hope is which offense plays worse. Straight: TB Spread: TB OVR/UND: UND Detroit at Arizona -2 46 OK this is the week Leinart gets his first W Green still gets fired. Straight: ARI Spread: ARI OVR/UND: UND Seattle at San Francisco 6.5 44.5 SF has played really good the past 2 weeks Seattle has gotten lucky Seneca loses his second game and the NFC South division starts to get tougher 4 bad teams contending. Straight: SF Spread: SF OVR/UND: UND Indianapolis at Dallas 1.5 48.5 Man in this week of all the upsets I will go with another 1 Indianapolis has barely escaped the past 3 games and they got to lose someday Dallas with Romo is a different team, I know I'm a dallas fan but this is the first upset I've called on Dallas I just smell an upset. Straight: Dal Spread: Dal OVR/UND: UND San DIego at Denver -3 42 San Diego is playing great but it's still denver at home their defense right now has to many holes with out 5 starters including Castillo it all depends if they can stop LT tha FREAK. Straight: DEN Spread: DEN OVR/UND: OVR New York Giants at Jacksonville -3 38.5 Leftwich gets the controls back and they take over a very injured Giants team and the NFC starts to look way better. Straight: JAX Spread: JAX OVR/UND: OVR Jax 24 NYG 20 |
Re: Week 11 picks
Dallas will lose because they don't hold a candle to the colts
|
Re: Week 11 picks
Good post, but I obviously disagree with your belief that the Redskins will lose this weekend. The Redskins D forces 2 turnovers, the Redskins run for 170 yards (150 by RBs), and the Redskins win 20-13.
|
Re: Week 11 picks
I also can't see the Redskins losing this game. I DO see Dallas upsetting the Colts, but I also see the Redskins getting a spark a la the Cowboys and making a statement down in Tampa.
|
Re: Week 11 picks
Cowboys make to many mistakes to beat a good team.
No way will they out score the Colts. |

Re: Week 11 picks
They haven't screwed up a lot recently. I'll have to give them that.

Re: Week 11 picks
HAHA! Witten is like Cooley except in the fact he doesn't break a lot of tackles.

The thing here is that I see zero team chemestry you're putting a 1 year and a half backup in there without your best offensive wepon to take the heat, I see Tampa puttin tons off presure on Campbell. Your Defense is a Joke right now you have a 35 year old vet starting in front of your 30 mill golden boy... the only way I see you comming on top is if Tampa plays the game like they played the second half of last MNF match up with Carolina. Don't get me wrong it's just I see to many holes and I see a rookie QB with 7 games of expirience vs a rookie QB with zero games and no RB, and L. Betts it's no portis he doesn't need to be gameplan that much. |
Re: Week 11 picks
We might be bad, but Tampa is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY worse.
|
Re: Week 11 picks
It's hard to take the picks seriously, in spite of the amount of effort you put into the posts. When you pick the Cowboys every week, even when they're playing a much better team, it just makes you sound like a homer. Picking everyone else in the NFC East to lose, just about every weekend supports the homer theory too.
|
Re: Week 11 picks
Dallas has only beat one team this year with a winning record. That's Carolina.

No, I don't understand it but it has me laughing pretty damn hard. I'm laughing so hard I'm crying. I have to edit it down and make it my new sig |

Hum..... Didn't that joke of a defense hold your choke ass team to 19 points? |

I guess your offense would have put up like 30 points if we didn't block that field goal. |
Re: Week 11 picks
Oh my god, the 49ers are favored to beat a team with a winning record. Holy shit...

How do you get 5 yards? Do the rules regarding grabbing a facemask confuse you? Arguing about how our D was not top notch is okay since it's true, but trying to say that the facemask ruling was a bad call is idiotic. |
Re: Week 11 picks
Sadly most of my picks were the same exept i picked the giants and redskins to win
|
Re: Week 11 picks
if romo plays the way he has been playing, i can see the cowboys beating the colts. remember, the sorry ass defense the skins have held a halftime lead against the colts. alittle pressure goes a long way against peyton manning

South that ain't true man I picked carolina Over dallas, but I did picked dallas over Philly and NY and in the philly game it took a lot of stupid drew bledsoemsitakes to lose it we had a chance to tie it at the 5 but we know what hapen and again the nY game was very comepetitive and we had a chance to e up befor the half but again bledsoe with an Int at the 5 you can't expect that. But I'm also the guy who picked you guys to beat Jacksonville I just call it as I see it and again I might be wrong but I see a better eam than what the record shows and in the case of Ind I see a team that has been close to losing 5 times now eventually the won't be able to come on top. |

ohh an the 70 yard TD dropped by T.O that would put the game away |
Re: Week 11 picks
Sadly most of my picks were the same exept i picked the giants and redskins to win
The thing about the giants is that they are missing 5 players at defense key players, they lost their second WR and Tiki is hurth in 1 hand which I believe will cause a fumble. Eli is nothing without Tiki and that defesne can't hold. In case of your team yeah Tampa is bad but I don't see Campbell prepare for the task not yet specially because Gibbs waited until the season was mostly over if he had put him in adter the bye week I would tought differently. That's not saying Campbell is bad or will suck I just don't think he's prepared. but hey tomorrow will find out. |

No, it would of being 25 points not thirty. |

I was being sarcastic, and it would have been 22 points. P.S. - Learn how to speak english. |

gotta gotta snag that rock. |
Re: Week 11 picks
Roy williams get to get embarrassed if he can't handle moss how the hell can he handle reggie wayne and harrison the cowboys secondary is screwed
|
Re: Week 11 picks
How's your confidence now, No Portis, No Moss, Rookie QB and a Crappy Defense that misses assignments and tackles still believe you can beat TB?
|
How's your confidence now, No Portis, No Moss, Rookie QB and a Crappy Defense that misses assignments and tackles still believe you can beat TB?
i think skins will be in for a long tough game against the bucs but i also think dallas will be in for a even tougher day. skins 17, bucs 24 dallas 20 , colts 38 |
Re: Week 11 picks
I agree with you but i do believe Dallas has a better chance to beat Ind than you beating TB just how he teams are right now
And right now there're to many upsets every week this season to believe is not possible NYJ over NE, MIA over Chi, Det ovr ATl, Cle ovr Atl etc.. Hey Buffalo and Tennessee almost beat Ind so I do see Dallas having a chance to end the streak. |
Re: Week 11 picks
skins chances are probably better than the roid's chances. facing a craptastic rookie QB with a horrible Oline, a HC that abandons the running game very quickly, and a defense that's had a lot of lapses this year and basically fallen off the earth just like the skins D.
|
Re: Week 11 picks
I would be more confident of your chances Aaron if Portis and Moss would be playing because they could help Cambell out in his first star. But a rookie QB zero expirience without his 2 most important weapons I just don't see it
sorry |
Re: Week 11 picks
well, we'll see, but TB is in a terrible place too, and their QB is never going to be good, or their OL.
|
Re: Week 11 picks
i think dallas is gonna beat indy 28-25!
|
Re: Week 11 picks
Its tough reading this thread considering the results of the tampa and indy games. We sound like a bunch of jackasses.
I include myself, I had the same opinions about these 2 games. |

Hey DBOYZ. I always read and respect your posts. But, you and a couple other cowboy fans have completely lost track of the English language and common sense. Please explain this. Are you only posting drunk? Did your mama shake you too hard recently? Are u guys the "rejects" from some gay cowboy sight? I will tell ya what. PM me and i will give you my phone#. Lets have a pow wow. |
