Im a Skins fan of over 20 years. Im sick and tired of the poor clock management, poor play calling at the end of the game, and poor personnell decisions. All of these are the responsibility of Joe Gibbs. Thus, reluctantly, I am now of the opinion that he must step down. The play calling and clock management have been atrocious for 3 years now. Good Bye Joe.

What's insane about it? Joe Gibbs is responsible for the clock management, he's responsible for the play calling as the head coach, and he's ultimately responsible for the personnell decisions, cause Snyder gets who Joe wants. Ive been following them forever, but its not blasphemy to call a spade a spade, Gibbs has failed.

Blind faith without criticism will get us nowhere. How can anyone defend his playcalling this game and his clock management ever since his comeback? Joe Gibbs is the head coach, and ultimately he is responsible.

ive been a skins fan for about 20 years too and our problem is we dont treat this as a business. we try to build loyalty and in this day and age it does not exist. we need to totally rebuild from management to coaches to players no matter how much leadership or what they have done for the franchise....and yes im including gibbs. football these days is a what can you do for me now business..period

Last Year There Was Bad Play Calling, Poor Time Mangament, And Bad Personell Issues, And Still At The End Of The Year You Were Saying "gibbs Is God" "brunells Still Got It" And Many Other Things. The Biggest Thing We Dont Have This Year Is Chemistry, New O.c. New Recivers, New Playbook And A New Way Of Coaching For J.g. Oh And A New Q.b At The Helm. Its Not That Bad, Yes We Are Probably Not Going To Make The Playoffs But Look At The Bright Side, Did Brunell And Moss Really Connect This Year On A Deep Ball Like Campbell And Moss Did Today? And When (a Healthy) Portis Comes Back You Will See A Big Difference. Next Year Will Definatley Be Better Mark My Words. Barring A Major Personell Change. So To All Those Jumping Ship Its Sad, To All Those Keeping The Faith Hail To The Redskins!!!!

IM SOOOOOO SICK OF THIS!!! IT IS NOT WORKING!!!! The damn personnel moves and draft strategy BLOW! The damn playcalling sucks ass. The damn clock management is HORRIBLE. You cannot say Joe Gibbs is not responsible, HE is the freakin head coach and he IS responsible. This is shit. We have squandered draft picks, and money to get here and folks "here" is another losing record and no chance to improve under the current system.

He probably won't win another SB here, but if he can restore respectability over the next two seasons, that's more important than clock management or getting a no. 6 seed so we can get beat in the first round.

The critism that Gibbs draws is totally warranted. Let's get a couple of things straight: The Redskins had a good tradition before Gibbs came here in the 80s. George Allen took the team to the Super Bowl if anyone cares to remember. I think what Gibbs did during his tenure was cement the franchise among the greatest in football.

Secondly, there seems to be an attitude that because Joe Gibbs has three Super Bowl rings, he's beyond reproach some how. I just don't get it. In three years since his arrival, the offense has been sporadic and inconsistent.

Al Saunders isn't the blame, Joe Gibbs is to blame. Daniel Snyder isn't to blame, Joe Gibbs is to blame. Gregg Williams isn't to blame, Joe Gibbs is to blame. Even when Williams fielded a top defense the past two years, we failed to give him an offense that could remotely keep pace and challenge to be a contender.

You guys can say what you will about Gibbs, but the bottom line...THE BOTTOM line is he hasn't done a good job since he has returned to Washington.

If he shows that he can get these guys to play well enough for us to win, I say keep him and all the vets and sign a piece or two. If the D shows no promise, we should tear it down, and start over with someone new as we become an offensive football team.

After all, if we were playing with a team of replacement players on D, it wouldn't be any worse.
