I think the more important question is-If the Vikings cut Smoot, should we bring him back?

And more important than that-If we brought back Smoot, would I revert to my original username of Smootsmack? (wonder if Sheriff Gonna Getcha would revert back to Ramseyfan)

I wouldn't bring Ramsey back. How about Kurt Warner? He knows the system. I always thought that if you can protect him he's is still really really good. Smoot would be interesting. But for some reason he has played poorly in Minn.

I dunno - we need a serviceable backup QB who is under the age of 40. Ramsey always seemed to play well off the bench. He just had trouble as the starter. Maybe he is the missing piece of the puzzle?

Smoot would be good for team chemistry if nothing else, plus he was a fan favorite. He's only been in MInn. for 2 years, does anybody have reason to think that he'll be cut other than his demotion to nickel?
It would also be cool to pick him up after someone else overpaid for one of our players!

I say you bring Smoot back if you can ! Oh my God I know it was hypothetical but if there was some way that we could get Pierce back I'd say make that happen immediately ! Brunelleschi used to play safety in highschool; I think he could be the missing cover guy in the secondary that we've been searching for all season. He'll definitely give Taylor more of an opportunity to rome around the field and destroy unsuspecting Cowgirls and little bitches, I mean Giants. On a more serious note, I think Smoot would be a good acquistition; maybe a homecoming could reguvinate his career since he did play his best football here. As far as Ramsey goes, I'm not so sure that he would even want to come back to DC after Gibbs basically ran him outta town.

Yeah man, I loved these guys when they were here, I've got a Ramsey jersey in my closet, maybe I can put it to use once again. And I loved Smoot's energy in the locker room. We can say Smoot has struggled this year, but the Minnesota D is lighyears ahead of ours right now

I'm convinced the Redskins team store has started selling replica Riggins jerseys (they already sell a bunch of old players stuff) because they realize that people are getting pissed about players leaving the team right after they buy their jerseys. I wouldn't be suprised if each year they add another old player to their replica supply.

On a side note: my buddy and I figured out that a great jersey to have, that we've only ever seen a handful of times, would be Brian Mitchell's. Maybe that will be the replica of choice for the team store next season.

I think the Skins have been slow to jump on the throwback bandwagon for whatever reason.

I see teams like the Bears where you can buy Butkus, Payton, and Sayers. It's about damn time we started releasing the legends.
