From an actual theological/religious perspective that sort of makes sense - from birth to rebirth. Ooops, sorry to inject religion into a discussion of Christmas related paraphenalia. |
Re: F... people who still have christmas lights/decorations up
My step-mom and my Dad have kept their Christmas decorations up for three years running! Total lunacy!

Re: F... people who still have christmas lights/decorations up
Enroute to work every day, there are a few people that not only still have lights up outside, but still light them. It's kinda funny.

Re: F... people who still have christmas lights/decorations up
MY neighbor is one of those people who is very lazy but puts up allot of lights. He has taken them down but the extension ladder is still leaning against his house. It has been there on his porch stretched to his roof from two christmases ago.

Re: F... people who still have christmas lights/decorations up
My Russian neighbors.
They still have icicle lights and a beagle statue dressed as Santa on their front step. Mine were down just after New Year's. Would've been sooner but we were away from home for New Year's Eve and NY Day. |
Re: F... people who still have christmas lights/decorations up
Just another injection of religion into the whole Christmas celebration:
Does anyone realize that the traditional religious Christmas Season begins on Christmas Day? It then continues for twelve days (hence the twelve days of Christmas and the gift of many pear trees) until Epiphany, January 6the (the day the Kings of the Orient "visited" Jesus in the manger). |

Redskins_P and I celebrate "Christmas" all the way through Three Kings Day. |
