Today's my first day back at work after an extended paternity leave. Unfortunately, work still sucks.

Thanks. It is awesome. Amazing how something so small and needy can evoke such strong feelings.

My son (who will be 4 in May) adores his little sister. This morning before I went to work, he asked "Dad, when Gwyneth gets older, can I share my toys with her?"

The little ones are awesome...

My 5 year old little sister asked me the other day why she doesn't know when she is asleep. She was so irritated by the fact that she didn't know the instant she started sleeping. I tried to explain, but really got no-where.

Yeah, my wife might've been upset with "Hey dear, I know you're recovering from major surgery and have a new born and 3 year old to deal with, but I'm going drinking and hitting the strip clubs tonight. See you in the morning - unless of course I hook-up or am in jail."

Well, actually it's a girl. And she will be in Skins gear as soon as she gets big enough to wear something larger than newborn clothes (She's tiny - 5th percentile in weight, 10th in height).

A more appropriate extension of an olive branch, however, would be an apology for your previous actions.

Congrat's on the little one. Me and my wife had a little girl on 12/30/06 so I did get the tax break for last year. I see your my age but your other child is 3 while my other is 21 (talk about starting all over again). Grayson my new born already has her first Skins shirt and my 21 year old (when home from college) loves eating wings and now she is 21 even having a beer with dad while the games on.
