NFL Connection Mock Draft: Version 3.0-The Fans Decide
 

We're just a couple of weeks away from version 3.0 of the NFL Connection Mock Draft ([url]http://www.nfl-connection.com[/url])

This time though, I'm recruting all of you to help create the draft.

Here's how we're going to do it. One person starts off with the 1st overall pick representing the Raiders, the next person will represent the Lions and pick for them, next the Browns and so on. Just state the team and name. I will comment on all the picks when the draft is over. Keep in mind this only for Round 1

Two rules: 1. No trades, and 2. You can't pick for two consecutive teams (ideally enough people will respond that)

Adrian Peterson, Runningback, University of Oklahoma.

Detroit Lions: JaMarcus Russell, QB LSU

EDIT: If the Lions are able to get Russell, they'd be foolish not to. However, you can disregard this post, since Redskins_P beat me to it.

I think we missed Tampa.
I woulda had them take Branch since Johnson was gone but with him also gone(sorta) we'll go

With the 4th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft the Tampa Bay Bucaneers select....

with the 6th pick, the washington redskins have announced a trade with the ny jets. their #6 pick and ladell betts, for the jets #25 pick, the jets third round pick, and linebacker jonathon vilma

At #7, Minnesota takes Brady Quinn, who only plays well in the preseason and after the Vikings are 3-10 and out of the playoff hunt.

PS It's crazy to think the Raiders won't take a QB, IMO that messed this entire mock up. But whatever.

Buffalo Bills think about DE Gaines Adams (best player available) and CB Leon Hall (to replace Nate Clements), but ultimately settle on OT Levi Brown to shore up their offensive line.
