Drinking in the morning: Fun or Sad?
 

I did not bang a Japanese school-girl nor do I attend College Park.

My fiancee is wedding dress shopping right now, I've had quite a few beers since 11 AM. Is this sad or am I just living the dream?

Key West is outstanding. Lots of homeless people. Lots of transvestites. No homeless transvestites yet, so maybe that's a good career path.

If it's a fruity drink then it's alright..it's part of a healthy breakfast. If it's beer, you my friend are well on your way to uttering "Hi, my name is TMC, and I'm an alcoholic." :)

i hate drinking in the morn b/c to me that indicates that you have no life and nothing better to do, in other words it is depressing.

the only times i would drink is in the morning before highschool senior year. best thing ever. teachers that were younger knew i was drunk, and didnt care.

i'd be runk also from parties the night before.

but if you wake up and hav nothing to do i believe it is depressinig.

but hey i'm all for drinking your drink

I am going to say it's fun because I DO have something to do: talk to all YOU guys. In a few minutes, TMC is going to meet his brother and drink even more at Applebee's! YAY for chain restaurants. Damn, my typing is pretty good for drinking all morning.

It all depends. You were drinking beers alone, so that's sad. But the last time I went camping, and the last time I participated in the Beer Olympics, I made sure to crack open a beer by 9:30am. Also, if there's at least one other person drinking with you you're not an alcoholic.

There are certain situations that make it ok to drink in the morning: Gamedays, Camping, and if your in college. Otherwise you might have a problem. Anyone think of any other situations that apply?

Brud - while in Key West, no matter gender, one must imbibe at either the Flying Monkey or Fat Tuesday's and have frozen drinks. And some of the concoctions are lethal, so if you man up and get one that has stronger alcohol in it (151), then you're good to go.

As far as drinking in the AM, there are certainly situations where it is acceptible. It's sad if you do start drinking and you have no intensions whatsoever to see anyone or be sociable that day.

My morning drinking has been limited to Bloodys and Mimosas.
For some reason they're more socially accepted than others.
And I'm all about social acceptance.

I always find it helpful to contact the local PD in advance of a good morning bender. We have a casual agreement that if they don't have to chase me down, I won't have to get the "Rodney King" and end up on a Cops video
