Dolphins Closing In on Green For 7th Rounder (corrected)

This doesn't seem to say much for Culpepper.

Re: Dolphins Closing In on Green For 2nd Rounder

This would be a great move for the Chiefs. Huard deserves to be the starter there, at least for 2007. He earned it with great play in 2006.

Green can still play at a respectable level, I think. He got thrown to the fire last year after returning from the concussion, and then having to play a bunch of really tough pass defenses.

I think this move would make the Dolphins the clear cut 2nd best team in that division. What an honor!

I guess this is Herm Edwards' way of acknowledging/making up for the mistake he made by benching Huard in favor of Green.
This doesn't seem to say much for Culpepper.
Culpepper can still be better than Trent Green. I thought he was improving with every start in 2006, and then all of a sudden Joey Harrington is in.

Accoring to PFR's blog, Joey Harrington secured the title of "Worst QB of all-time" due to his consistent play AND inexplicible longevity. Why does this guy keep getting chances?

Edwards has said Croyle would get a chance to compete for the starting job, but I think it's Huard's in 2007

What is it with Dolphins and 2nd round picks for QBs? They traded a 2nd for AJ Feeley, a 2nd for Culpepper, and a 2nd now (allegedly) for Trent Green

Joey Harrington may be a Toronto Argonaut next season

2nd rounder is too much for a 37 yr old qb

Pwned by a newb?

That sounds like a bannable offense to me.

How many weeks do you want SS?

In my defense, the article apparently had it wrong originally and then corrected it (or so says another "source")

As far as a ban, you may want to reconsider that. Or should I post the pictures of you, Dasealita, whipcream, and a car battery? Is that what you want tough guy?

Alright I have to say this. I wish this whole deal would have went down a year ago. I mean come on who would be the best fit for our offense. Trent Green. We could have cut old MB, and had a QB ready to continue his great play in this offense.

But here is why it would not have worked in the long run. Gibbs would then fall in love with another old QB, pay him a bunch of money, and us the fans would never see JC on the field.

I could see the possibility of Culpepper to Oakland to reunite with Moss.

They'll have trouble being better than the Bills for bottom of the AFC East. There's a massive overhaul going on in Miami right now.
