Bledsoe calls it a career

I'm kinda surprised, but not really. I don't think he had much left, his starting days were certainly over at least. |
Re: Blesdoe calls it a career
And he sllllllloooooowwwwwwly walked off into the sunset.

Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
good guy, good career overall
I will most fondly remember seeing Phillip Daniels putting him into the turf at fedex 4 times on a lovely day in December 2005. |
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
good career but there was always something missing. He could never quite get it.
|
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
Good move, he was done.

Actually he just stood in the pocket until the sunset came to him. |
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
About 2 or 3 years overdue, but I'm glad to see it happen.
So who's going to take over for Rohomo when he inevitably screws up again? |
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
Brew Johnsoe, I mean, Brad Johnson.

Okay, that one made me spill my coffee. |

classic! Maybe he'll stay there until his retirement presser |
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
I would not be surprised that if a team has a QB go down in training camp or in preseason that he could get a call as a back up.

Tony Romo, is that you? |
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
Best career move he's made in a while.
|
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
It would have been a good move in 2003. Know it’s really his only move. Who would want Bledsoe? Even as a back up.

If it had been, I would have dropped my coffee, stumbled over my feet as I tried to pick it up then sat on my ass and cried as I realized my coffee was gone. |
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
See ya Drew
|
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
It is polite to say something good and upbeat about a man when he decides to retire. However, Drew B played his last football season with the Cowboys which makes this a bit more difficult.
Well Drew here's my toast to you ... You may not have played for a quality franchise like the Redskins but I have to admit that the Cowboy franchise has the best lovers in the NFL. Sooo here's to you. Come on you guys ... it is true ... just ask any cow! |
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
Ok...polite....let's see...
Thanks for the wins (for us) over the years, Drew. |
Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
He was an extremely effective QB when protected (which wasn't often in Buff or Dallas) and a sub-par one when not protected. I bet he would have thrived as a QB in the late 70s or early 80s or in with a team like the Chiefs.

Re: Bledsoe calls it a career
Dude can still throw better than a lot of starters and he's durable. If he would just swallow his pride he could play a few more years . He would make a great back-up.
