Well look at that, we signed a (Salisbury University) Seagull to the roster. If thought he had any chance of staying on the active roster I might be inclined to buy his jersey, seeing as there aren't too many players from my alma mater in the league.

I would love it if he were to turn into one of those undrafted gems, but I doubt it will happen.

Is he the 6'8" guy we just signed?
If so, Snyder may have demanded they he be cut after they bumped into each other and Danny Boy's face smacked into Hilton's crotch. That's just a wild guess.

Yeah, that's him. I feel kinda bad for him. Redskins.com just wrote that article about how he grew up a die-hard Skins fan and was so happy to be there, ra ra ra. Oh well, it's the biz I guess.

I just watched the NFL films documentary about Doug Williams and the 1987 Washington Redskins.

Timmy Smith's first start. Doug Williams career story. Bostic being a whining bitch and the roller coaster Schroeder/ Williams saga. All of it and that team whipped ass in the Superbowl! I know I said it last year but I'm calling for a Gibbs lead Superbowl!!! Let's get it on!

Of those 8 new signees it's possible that 1 of those players start at some point under Joe Gibbs.

just find it funny cause hilton could have been a weapon in the red zone with his 6'8" frame but not gonna happen wonder what happened that made him get cut

Not sure what there is to be too surprised about, Hilton is a scrub. That's life in the NFL for a scrub. I guarantee this won't be the last time he gets cut.

Being 6'8 doesn't mean shit if you can't get off the line and can't get open. Not saying that he can't, but there's certainly more to being an effective TE than just being tall.

I think the team has the pass catcher it wants in Cooley, and whatever other TE they put on the roster (Yoder, Hilton, whoever) HAS to be able to block along the line of scrimmage.

Maybe they got Hilton in practice and realized he was a crappy blocker.
