LSU overrated????
 

OK, I know it's early in the LSU / Miss St. game, but LSU is only up by 3 with about 8 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.
We're talking about a team that had a whopping 3 wins last year and LSU is struggling early?

I find it hard to beleive that LSU will be undefeated this year anyway after losing so much to the draft last year.

we will be fine he will get comfortable hthis is just his 2nd start of his career. Once we stop running options and shit we will be fine.

4 int's at half time for Miss ST...that's horrible.

I question where LSU would be right now if not for those 4 horrible int's (they were gimme's too). Miss St. had 3 wins last year, this should be a blow out before the kickoff!
I said it before, and I'll say it again, LSU is overrated. You can't lose that many good players and "get better".

Not the way they are playing.
If Miss St can walk all over their o-line, that doesn't bode well for LSU.
LSU will lose at least 2 this year.
They are still good, but no way a national championship team.

It appears only quake and myself are watching the game.

31 points off turnovers, 6 int's (all on horrible throws). Miss St. will be lucky to win 3 games this year and LSU should have killed them by 50+. Maybe it's cause it's early in the season that LSU looks rusty, but I still say they lost too many valuable players to the draft to win the whole thing this year.

All back ups in now, on both sides. Like I said, LSU has looked better in this half, but if they play like this against good teams, they won't win.

So when would you take a QB out? 4th int, 5th? No, it takes 6 int's, and all of them were way off line too...the coach of Miss. St. killed Miss St. just as much as the QB did.

Well you seemed to be pretty convinced very early on in the game that LSU was sunk for the season because they didn't come out of the gate like gangbusters. It's a long season, relax. Maybe they won't win it all, but they're still going to be in the thick of things and it's way to early to write them off, that's all I'm sayin'.

You're absolutely right about that. I just don't get why everyone has crowned them so early, and watching them today doesn't convince me.
There is no way they can beat USC for instance.

ps- earlier I said they will lose 2 games, that's not writing them off, or saying they were sunk for the season, that's saying they aren't going to win the whole thing.

we are talking about the same USC that lost last year to UCLA and Oregon State with a better offense than they have now. Dont start with that cause no one has crowned LSU with anything. Everyone is all over USC's balls.

ps- Hawaii would rip your defense apart, but LSU was too chicken to schedule Hawaii. Hawaii even offered a large sum of money and they still chickened out.

yes we are on for the bet and Hawaii would get SMASHED by our defense. I am tired of Colt Brennan. He would get demolished by the LSU defense. And what good would come from us smashing them into the ground. It wouldnt really help us in the ranking. We didnt chicken out we declined, as did many other teams USC and Michigan included.

Why should the number[B] 2[/B] team in the nation travel back about 3-4 time zones to play a team in the WAC (pronounced whack) confrence. Tell me how that makes sense for LSU.
