If you had a time machine, which year would you go back in time to? For me, it would definitely be the 80's, because I'd want to witness the Redskins greatness all over again.

However, it would be kind of neat to go back in time to earlier decades to see how life was before my time.

I'd go back to 50's and buy a bunch of cars (like a 53 vette, 57 bel air etc) and protect them so I could have them today.
I'd also go back and make bets on all the great games in history. Like the 2004 Sox winning the series, or the Jets winning the super bowl, or Buster Douglas beating Tyson.

I'd:

-Go back to ancient Egypt and leave a Dr. Pepper bottle in King Tut's tomb.
-Tell Custer that heading out to Little Big Horn wouldn't be a good idea
-Discourage Kevin Costner from making WaterWorld.
-Do my homework in high school.

I thought about this some more, and I think I'd go back and help people. Like go to the government and tell them about the plans to take down the Towers in NY. Or go Hawaii on Dec. 6th 1941 and warn them to be on alert.
Go to NY back in 77 and go to the area's where Son of Sam was and kill that bastard. Go to Kurt Cobain's house and tell him he's an idiot to throw away his talent. Smack Jimmy Hendrix upside his head and tell him to only occasionally use drugs, not go nutts on them.
Convince the Skins not to draft Heath Shuler, and several other disasters throughout our history.

Buy Stock in Microsoft in the late 80's (using my paper route and grocery bagger money). Give a list of NFL draft Diamonds and Busts to Norv Turner in the Early 90's. Go to college straight out of High School. Bet big on every Championship game from 87 to 93.

Interesting that you say that. I think I'd go forward to Dec. 12th 2012, or Dec. 23, 2012 and see if the world will actually end like Mayan civilization predicted.

(you could also go 50 years in the future, see what new inventions had been made, copy them, then come back to now and "invent" them)

The funny thing is he probably did time travel and saw the world was ending. Which prompted him to leave his wife and chase Julio all the way to SD.

Which reminds me I need a good laugh, note to self go back and read Jsarno's advice thread.
