Good omen

The last time the Skins defense ranked 29th (in yards) the next season the Skins improved to 4th! (1999 to 2000)
The last time the Skins offense ranked 20th (in points) the next season the Skins improved to 9th! (1985 to 1986)

I don't see why either of those numbers can't happen.

I'll add another one: Gibbs has never had two consecutive losing seasons.

I'll add one more:

THE LAST TIME GIBBS LOST THAT BAD THE SEASON PRIOR, HE WENT TO THE SUPERBOWL THE FOLLOWING SEASON.

SEE 1983

How's this for an omen,... I found out Sunday that my wife is pregnant. I'm about to have a fucking baby ! I swear I hope it's a boy, he will have his Redskins trashcan with a Cowboys star in the bottom so he knows that you always throw your trash on the Dallas Cowboys.

Hail To The Redskins !!!! Hail WALKING into the playoffs this year !

Ha. That's not very nice to call your son.

My first son is due to be born Nov 23. If he's 5 days early, that's during the Dallas game. :)

I already told my wife I'll have a TV in the delivery room.

100% healthy! GW just said it on redskins.com that everyone was a full go in practice today including MW and Khary Campbell. This is GREAT news.

I have been very cautious with my Redskins talk and predictions. This thread is making it difficult to stay that way. Great job to all who have posted!!!!

That's great Buster. Best of luck to you, your wife, and your new child. :food-smil If indeed your son is born close to the Dallas game, will you name him...Dallas? Wonder if that was what inspired Dexter Manley naming his kid Dallas??

Maybe you should name him after the MVP of the Skins for that game. (or at least a middle name)

Other newborn baby name ideas considering "Buster" as namesake and you being a Redskin fan:

"Rock" Buster (or "Rocky" Buster)
Buster "Blades"
Buster "Cooley"
"Smoot" Buster
Buster "Suisham"...nah

Re: Good omen

Hate to ruin the "good omen" thread but I had a pretty ridiculous Redskins dream last night. It's really weird because I never have Redskins dreams, but I guess I've got so much anticipation, that's what took my brain over.

(enter dream)
So the game started out well. Jason Campbell lead an amazing drive down the field completing every single pass. Clinton Portis scored on a sweep and everyone went nuts... this is where it gets crazy.

After everyone started going crazy, the Dolphins responded.... and kept responding. They continued to score both on offense and defense until the score was 51-7. I woke up so relieved...

It was so realistic, and I'm so glad it was just a dream.

Man... I need to lay off the Warpath for a little bit... this shit it ridiculous.

Here's a good omen, this game reminds me of the Tampa Bay game 3 seasons ago, the one we won 16-10.
