Terry Glenn Out At Least Two Weeks
Dallascowboys.com took the original story down, but I'm hearing a lot of rumors tonight that he might actually be done for the year

Tough break for the Cowboys, but good for us.

Re: Terry Glenn Out At Least Two Weeks
great news

Re: Terry Glenn Out At Least Two Weeks
for the perception that Glenn is soft, the reality is he has been a pretty good receiver over the years

yup...and he's burned us on some huge plays |
Re: Terry Glenn Out At Least Two Weeks
yet they are going to go 16-0 right? yea and pigs fly too
|
Re: Terry Glenn Out At Least Two Weeks
They could always trade for Clayton or sign Caldwell, Gabriel, Moore, etc. Bring Keyshawn out of retirement?

If he is out for more than a couple of weeks I would certainly look for JJ to go after the likes of Caldwell or gabriel. they'll want to get a deep threat like Glenn. It might be a bidding war between us & them over caldwell next week. If we're happy w/this Bodiford kid, I hope the Danny at least chats up Caldwell's agent to drive up his price for the pokes, just as he did w/Leonard Davis. |
Re: Terry Glenn Out At Least Two Weeks
I'm not sad at all. It is about time other teams face injuries to key players like we did last year. If they still have a good year then good for them since last year we stunk it up. If they go to the supe bowl now I would be surprise big time.

GAWD NO! Could you imagine the two egos of Keyshawn and T.O. in the same locker room and on the field at the same time? It would be like having a match on one side and kerosine lined up in the slot! BOOM!!!!! |

Re: Terry Glenn Out At Least Two Weeks
I never enjoy any player getting injured but if he's out for the year, this definitely affects (or effects, I always mix them up) their offense.
SmootSmack, contrary to what's been said in some other threads, just wanted to say any time you hear what in your view is a credible rumor, please share it with all of us as: #1, it usually turns out to be correct and #2 it helps us get a leg up for things like Fantasy. |

Bad break for the Cowboys. Glenn is very underated in my opinion.
Actually I would like to see him suit up against our secondary....on second thought. |

It would be like having a match on one side and kerosine lined up in the slot! BOOM!!!!!
So having the huge egos of Owens, Parcells and King Jerry didn't cause any problems? That was a collection of the player with the biggest ego, coach with the biggest ego and owner with the biggest ego. No wonder Parcells couldn't take another year. Next year, Owens will be gone. He always behaves his first year on a team, then he can't help himself any more. It'll be fun to watch. :) |

Now Glenn it's a huge blow and yes it first came out as a season ending injury ten probable two week we don't really know but it sure doesn't look good I think it will be more than 2 week and Caldwell would be the best suitable options. |

Yeah, but you could argue that he was Terrell Owens then and he's TO now. He turned into TO, the prick that we all know today, in about 2001, which wasn't too long after he became more than just a role player on SF. He didn't last too long there after that. |
Terry Glenn out for the entire season?
Long time no talk my Redskins breatherin. Just read over at rotoworld.com that Terry Glenn is done for the year.
Looking forward to the season guys!! |
Re: Terry Glenn out for the entire season?
we already have this thread and it will get closed down sorry.
|
Re: Terry Glenn out for the entire season?
I saw the "two week" thread, I thought this deserved it's own. My bad.
|
Re: Terry Glenn out for the entire season?
up to the mods if it deserves its own thread.

No big deal, this is an interesting twist. The mods merged the threads but maybe they should change the title too. |
Re: Terry Glenn Out At Least Two Weeks
It's not absolutely confirmed yet that he's out for the year. So we'll keep things on this thread (i.e. the title) as is for now
|

I hope he is out for the year.

But put two PLAYERS like that in the same locker room, that is just scary. |

But put two PLAYERS like that in the same locker room, that is just scary.
With normal people, yes. Owens does not know his place, he thinks he IS the organization he plays for. Jones thinks he's the coach and owner a lot of times too. |
ESPN's Matt Mosley reports that a member of the Cowboys organization told him that Glenn would miss the season. An article reporting the same was posted on Dallas' team site Thursday, but pulled when owner Jerry Jones reportedly decided to hold off on making the announcement. Jones said in a revised story that Glenn would miss "at least two weeks." Glenn's agent says no decision has been made, but Glenn owners can drop him. Patrick Crayton needs to be owned in all leagues.
Glad I dropped him last week. :) (Autodraft - I'd never draft him on my own). |

Re: Terry Glenn Out At Least Two Weeks
I generally don't like to gloat over a team's misfortune when it comes to injuries because of the bad karma/murphy's law effect (even if it is the cowgirls). I just wish he would have been knocked outta the game by a combination, sandwich tackle by Landry and Taylor. Nothin career ending but just a statement to the league about our defense...oh well i guess there are always targets to be had.
