What makes you most nervous about tonight's game??
 

For me, I'm nervous about McNabb throwing all over our secondary. Miami's offense isn't exactly up to par with Philly's....

Brian Westbrook. I don't think McNabb is all the way back yet. We've historically had a hell of a time stopping division rivals from running the ball.

But seriously, I worry about Westbrook. I'm worried that he'll take short passes for big gains the whole night.

I am nervous about the Skins in general. After Dallas dismantled Miami on the road and we just got by them I feel like we might be in for a long night tonight.

Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook scare me. Especially McNabb, he has had career days versus the Skins in years past. The defense needs to set the tone early and create turnovers and sacks. The offense needs to capitalize on every opportunity.

Many things trouble me about this game but in particular the our offense vs. their defense. It not going to help that it's going to be loud for them too. The offense doesn't seem to be in rhythm yet and it will probabl y be a few weeks until they are.

McNabb's knee is holding him back though. If you saw last weeks game you got see McNabb run around at 75% speed of what he used to be.

I'm not expecting much so I'm not let down if it gets ugly...still love my Skins though.

I watched that game, Miami was hanging w/them, but screwed themselves & T. Green gave them 4 picks & a fumbled snap. They didn't force him into the bad throws either. I was surprised at the lack of pressure by the boys on D.

Miami also had better success running on dallas than they did on us.

I just think historically the Redskins are not very good on Monday night. That and the Iggles are gonna be pissed coming off the loss. To have a chance, we must weather the storm early and keep "fighting our guts out".

Miami did have 340 yards on O and held the Cowboys to around 360 with all those ints. was not that bad. Several of those ints. were just bad throws and not on plays that Trent was under preasure forcing bad throws.

well, i feel like our secondary could get exposed, but they do have a lack of receivers, so we may match up allright...

I worry about campbell, though... i hope he can pull down his short throws and make some plays against this defense.

Mainly, we're playing the eagles, at philly, on monday night when they're coming off a loss... they're going to be pumped to beat our ass...

we HAVE to match their intensity and maintain it throughout the entire game or we will get beaten!

The Eagles coming off a loss is a great point. It's their home opener, McNabb is back, and oh yeah, it's MNF. That place is going to be going ape shit. I'm a ball of nerves. I have been so unproductive at work today.

When is the last time the Skins play bump and run? The only person that could do that would be Springs. Carlos "Cushion" Rogers, plays atleast 5-7 yards back in man. Also we tend to play a good amount of Cover 3, or atleast we did last game.

I'm more worried about their deep passing game. I think with the speed we have on defense at the LB position right now, we don't need to worry about Westbrook.

I'm excited, though, because for some reason it seems like Sean Taylor really shows up against the Eagles... I wanna see some huge hits and some turnovers being forced on D to take the crowd out of the game early...

It's ok to think your teams going to win, but there are things skins fans need to be worried about. I think we have an improved team, but here is what I'm worried about:

Jason Campbell: Time to start showing some signs that he has "It"

Our cornerbacks: McNabb is coming off a bad game, he's going to throw it 35 times or more.

Bryan Westbrook: I'm worried about those screen passes and draws, oh yeah, he's pretty fast.

Our team as a whole: We haven't stepped up in division games on the road for a long time. We won in Philly in 2005 but that was w/out McNabb and we barely won that.

Joe Gibbs: Joe, if I remember right those 80's teams scored alot of points along w/ running the ball. Time for us to start trying to score some points, instead of just trying to "stay in it."

I do think we can win this game and i do like our team. We've only seen one week so there are a lot of unanswered questions. Go skins!!

L.J. Smith and Brain Westbrook bailing out McNabb on short routes when we blitz is my primary defensive concern. Jevon Kearse's pass rush against a run-blocking specialist in Todd Wade raises concern, although I think Wade will offset his speed rush by pounding him on our run plays. I am nervous, as always, about having possibly the worst current player in the NFL, Lloyd on the field.

Eagles Offensive Line Vs. Washington Defensive Line

If we can get no pressure on McNabb I'm not sure our secondary will hold up the whole game. Pressure on McNabb will be the key to this game.

Campbell:

Since last year when I saw him step in I've been really excited about this kid. He has the poise and talent that we have lacked for so many years at QB.

But now Im starting to get a little worried. I want to see him blow people away and be the best QB at least in the NFC. He just has not shown a breakout performance yet. I want to see a performance like the Browns QB this week (Whats his name? Is it Derek Anderson or something? I dunno whatever...) My roommate is a Jets fan and his been telling me that we way overvalue him. After seeing the Browns noname QB come in and light a fire under the asses of a Bengals D that seemed pretty decent Im starting to worry that my roommate is right.

(Either way at least he's better then Chad Pennington..ha ha ha)

That's a great point. They have an outstanding offensive line. Miami's O-line is weak and our D-line didn't exactly have Trent Green under fire. If McNabb is allowed to stand in the pocket longer than a second or two we're in trouble...

I'm worried about young Jason Campbell the most. Hopefully he can call the right protections and not be too confused by Jimmy Johnson's schemes.
