Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Winner Is.....................Detroit Lions!!! They play the Raiders & Vikings I'm not that impressed!!!
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
agreed i really think dallas is pretty over-rated as well. Giants are terrible and Trent Green fell apart.
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Gotta go with the Lions.
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Dallas. Apparenty thumping the Giants and Dolphins makes them better than Pittsburgh and San Diego. Their soft defense will be exposed soon though.
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
gonna go with the texans, andre johnson is out this next game

agreed they played nobody, but neither have we really. thier offense looks pretty good too. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
The Lions will not win 10 games okay they have CJ so what they have no running and a subpart defense!!! Kitna's prophecy is a bigger joke than Matt Millen.
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
i want to see dallas play an all around good team before i say they have a good offense. theyve played a terrible defense and a defense that held them well untill they were on the field most of the second half
|

even if the eagles go on to have a down year, walking into Philli on Monday night during opening weekend and dominating for the most part is pretty impressive...any team is difficult to beat during the home opener |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Dallas still has a problem covering the deep ball!!!
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
The 49ers. They'll win a few more, but It's just a matter of time before Seattle & St. Louis creep up on them in that division.

Or you could draw your conclusions from what the Redskins offense does this week against the Giants. We put up 16 compared to their 37 against the same Miami defense. They put up 45 against the Giants and we will put up ?? Personally I think this Dallas team is scary, mostly because I think their defense is much better than it has shown. But it is still early, and I hope I'm wrong. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
yeah but trent green didnt throw 4 interceptions to us in their own territory. It wasn't like he was pressured he just made crappy throws. He gave them good field position every turnover. Its not like dallas put up numbers crushing them. Hell trent green had more passing yards then romo.

In all honestly Campbell is still improving Romo is pretty much there as a true NFL. So Campbell hasn't grasped the game like Romo which allows him to have better numbers & put up more points than your offense!!! |

I agree. Actually I think they're overachieving on offense, and under on D. Both will level out in a few weeks. |

Correct, Green played well against us w/the exception of the would've been Smoot pick. He even fumbled while trying to spike the ball & fumbled a snap that dallas recovered. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
The Denver Broncos. A win is a win, no doubt. But they've needed last second field goals to squeak by the Bills and the Raiders (the Raiders at home no less), and yet a lot of people have them as a top 5-7 team. In fact, if I remember right, Terrell Davis called them the best 2-0 team last night on Total Access. Which is just ridiculous
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
I'm going with the Packers. Unfortunately, the Redskins are high on my list for this too.
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
I'm with you on the Packers. Decent young defense, but no running back nor wide receivers outside of Driver.
|

Terrell Davis is the KING of Homers. It is hard to tell where Shanahan's crotch end's and TD's mouth begins... |

Yeah, Denver has definitely lost something. It's probably because of Cutler, but other than that I can't see what has changed. Either way, they're absolutely not a top seven team. From what I've seen, I think Washington is better overall. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Dallas--agree with the comments about Green's TOs. Not impressed. I'm not saying we're better than them (I think we are--but that has to be proven on the field!), it's just that (as usual) the national media is on their jock.
Denver also bothers me--I really do not like that team. But they seem to win like this every year (for the past few), so maybe that's their style. I think GB and Houston looked pretty good--given where they both were last year, I'm not sure their being overrated right now as much as people are surprised that they're winning at all. Not impressed with SF--that division is very weak, IMO. We'll see. |

In TD's defense, he called them the best 2-0 team that wasn't in the playoffs last year. It's still nonsense, but... |

If you throw four interceptions, chances are the defense had something to do with more than one of them if not all. Dallas capitalized on the turnovers which is what good teams do. Bottom line is they went into Miami's house and beat them down, and we barely squeaked by with an overtime FG at home against the same team. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
It wasn't like the Dallas D was super talented to get those picks. Those bitches dropped RIGHT into their arms.

Supertalented or not, the result was the same. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
49er's. Alex Smith got a whole lot of props last year for making the step from god awful to mediocre. Well he is still mediocre at best and this is his third full season.
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
no dallas didnt have anything to do with them except for the one diving pick by henry. Otherwise green wasnt being pressured had open men just made terrible throws.
|

Yes, but I think that people are giving them a lot more credit than they deserve. Romo completes less than half his passes and Green is handing out great field position... bad combo. |

True - bad combo, unless we start getting some of that luck, then it would be a good combo. It will be interesting to see how Dallas and Washington look when we meet in week 11. Then we can draw better comparisons. I'm not going to call any team overrated or underrated until mid-season. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
There have been a few suprise teams going 2-0 to start the season, but I don't know that any of them have actually been overated thus far. They are suprising because no one (except them) expected them to be in the position they're in. So, talked about yes, overated, I'm not so sure.

second that. Denver |

hate to disagree, but 2 of those picks were ill advised throws from a QB with Spencer bearing down on him. The other 2 were all on Henry making great breaks on the ball, he worked for those. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
sorry you're wrong! He had one he worked for others were bad throws. Your d is weak.

I know it's biased coming from a Skins fan (or coming from you a Cowboys fan) but I think most of the league agrees those were horrible throws and it wasn't exactly a lot of duress he was under. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Absolutely has to be the Detroit Lions. They beat two awful teams. Minnesota has a solid D, but their offense is a joke. And they needed OT at home to beat them. And week 1 they beat Oakland.
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Detroit. They have NO running game and are suspect on defense.
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
New Orleans. Not only are they 0-2, but they've been manhandled in both loses. Nevertheless the media seems convinced that the Saints are going back to the playoffs. Reggie Bush really needs to learn to start following his blockers.

Then we agree to disagree. |
