Wow, big jump this week and some pretty good comments. I still hate his ass.

Thats funny...the best part might be that after we beat the Giants and the Cowboys Denver and Green Bay lose this week, I guess we'll be in the top 5. When was the last time u saw that???? And then we have a bye.....But I hate power rankings they're all hypocrites......

Heres Yahoo! Sports rankings. I usually disagree with Yahoo the most but I think their rankings are the best so far (at least the left column)

I think Dr. Z puts us way to high right now. We still havent beaten a team that has any wins, and wont have a chance until after the bye. Calling us a top 10 team is pushing it right now id say, a top 15 I think is more inline

He actually makes a decent point about the coverage and actually letting the corners (esp. Carlos) mix it up a bit. If McNabb had been more accurate there were certainly some openings for Eagles to make plays though.

I wouldn't take too much stock in this. I think his ratings are a joke.
No way, Tennessee is 9th. But since he overrated him last week (4th) he can't just drop him out of the top ten can he? They are not as good as people think. They should have lost to Jacksonville and been 0-2 right now.
Green Bay at 5???? WHAT? Granted they are 2-0, but they beat the Giants, who we all see as a bottom 5 team, and beat Phily, who we all noticed are not playing their best game with McNabb not ready to be back. The Packers are pretenders. They have an average offense, and an average defense...that does not make them 5, that makes them...uhh average!
Dallas at #3? I know everyone likes to give them all the props, but their D sucks. No way #3...top ten sure, but not #3. How in the world they are over the Steelers is beyond me.

Wow.....When is the last time we were in the top 10?.....Wow..... He does make a good point about the CB's, I was really impressed with thier level off play since Philly is a big passing team. Still don't like him though.

Dr Z calls it like he sees it. I think he has us a bit high, above the Bears? Anyhow, there's no pleasing you. We get put high, you still hate them, we get put low -- he hates us.

Well, the first team we played didn't have any losses, either.

I'm just sayin'.

I agree he's overvaluing us based on stats and results. I also think we'll be 4-0, and worthy of a top 5 in three weeks.

Really high IMO. Doesn't it seem as if Dr. Z is trying to appease his readers w/these rankings?

I guess my idea to merge all power rankings into one thread didn't fly over so well.

Ah well

Yeah, maybe too high righ now, but part of the reason we haven't beaten a team that has any wins, is because we beat them.

i'd rather be the last 2-0 team in the rankings because of the motivational factor!

Me too.

Plus if we win this weekend we'll go into the buy 3-0, but vs. at least one team thats 0-3 and two other teams that are at best 1-2. I think critics will point that out and we can use that as motivation. Yeah we may be 3-0 but look at the records of who we've played.

First things first though, must get win on Sunday while playing at home in 75th throwbacks vs. division rivial. Hopefully a brakeout day for JC and the rest of the offense.
