i have it reserved at GameStop. I'm not a big FPS guy but this should be a classic.

not looking forward to work that night, but once done I'll be on and a couple buddies and I will probably work on co-op a bit then do a little mp before going back to co-op again. and after seeing first hand the saved film feature of this game last week, I cannot wait for this game and hopefully I can get a few people together for one purpose: tipping over an Elephant. it's gonna be epic.

I am not a huge Halo fan, but the co-op intrigues me on this one. I hope its as good as everyone thinks.

Can someone explain the Co-Op? I won't buy this game until I am done with BioShock which is sooooo long and I love it!

Co-Op is doing the missions with your friend or 2 or 3 instead of playin the levels by your self.

but on live it is much more enjoyable.

I'll probably buy it just because it's one of those games u pretty much have to get. The online should be good. The game I'm still playing is Battlefield 2, the online is off the charts.

tiger woods is ok, but hard as freakin hell.
bioshock is a phenomenal single player game and u can't go wrong with picking it up.
halo is just one of those u games u need if u have a lot of friends online cuz I know I'm not a big halo nut but the 4 player co-op is the shiznit and the 16 player matches r also super sweet especially with the video editor feature.

I just reserved it at Gamestop earlier this week.

I've never played Halo before (and my friend already warned me that I'll probably get my ass kicked) so if anyone here wants to team up so they can protect my ass, I'm game. Haha

I haven't really played before either but I guess if the reviews are solid on this one I am going to go for it. I still have to get Bioshock first though.

It's already got a 9 out of 10 and the platinum status from the end-all-be-all Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. And this from a country that doesn't play FPS's the way this country does, especially American made ones.

why dont we get a co-op team on here for halo 3. What is the most amount of players you can have?

If it is 4 lets do that I need 3 more players to form a team.

welll if yall get live then you can go online and have teams of 4 in different games like capture the flag and team slayer.

much better, much funner IMO than plain ol co-op

^^haha yup. I snickered because the top of the sticker on the top of the box says, not to be sold until 12:01 am 9/25.

There were like 12000 people online last i checked so there are quite a few that have it. I am sure the online will be laggy after midnight tonight.


I always played halo for the multiplayer. I played a shit load too. The thing is i never really played the story line. That sucks because i want to play one and two before three so i haven't started the campaign.

The game isn't much different than the other ones. visuals are better and the controls are a bit different but nothing really crazy. There is a new vehicle that is like a small ATV which is a lot of fun to drive. There is some kind of shield that goes up when you hit X. I've made that mistake a lot because it used to be reload. Now RB is reload.

One REALLY cool feature is the theater. After playing a round online i was able to watch the replay of the whole thing. What makes it impressing is that it isn't just a replay of what i did or just my viewpoint. It is the replay of the ENTIRE game. I can move around and go to different places and see the entire game from every angle on the map. It is fantastic.

Now i am going to study....... I am going to play ALL F....ing DAY TOMORROW.

WOW! This game is pretty damn good! The theatre piece of this game is incredibly innovative! You can take screenshots, film clips, etc and upload them to your "file server" and share with everyone else which is pretty cool! I tried it out last night and it works like a charm.

This game will be around for a long time and I will be playing it until COD 4 comes out!
