Their offense is just awful. I saw it and it was really baaaad. To see those obnoxious Eagles fans in shock was pretty great. |
Re: Philly is strugglin....
I think McNabb will be a Bear next year
|
Re: Philly is strugglin....
i was at the game at philly and the eagles had very little offense; there defense wasn't very good either. Seriously, when the BEARS drive 97 yards to score in 1 minute something is wrong.
|
Re: Philly is strugglin....
Giving up a 97 yard drive at home, all with less than two minutes left? You can stick a fork in Philly. Having lived in Philly, I can imagine that they're calling for McNabb's head. I'd be shocked if Reid doesn't give Kolb a shot at McNabb's job after this season.

Re: Philly is strugglin....
This has bad Karma written all over... fans of the second-to-last-place team heaping shit on the last place team for no good reason. If we finish last in the NFC east you fuckers are to blame (along w/ Gibbs, Saunders, Moss, and the entire right side of the line - I f'n hate Fabini and Wade, how do we end up with such losers for back-ups?)
|
Re: Philly is strugglin....
who should kno the pain of having a banged up o line better than the skins...the eagles. suckers

I agree. I think the name of this thread should be "Philly is struggling too." |

4-2 2-4 Yep, no difference in those records. :pffff: |

2-4 Yep, no difference in those records. :pffff:[/quote] agreed, i do also believe we beat them on a monday night game, in philly.... |
Re: Philly is strugglin....
We could easily be 2 - 4 with this game and vs Miami.

And we could easily be 6-0. So what's your point? |
Re: Philly is strugglin....
Question is, how bad does the record have to be before Philly throws in the towel for this year and puts Kolb in to give him that "game-time experience" to carry to next season.
You gotta think 3 or 4 more losses and the McNabb era could come to an abrupt close. |
Re: Philly is strugglin....
This thread remines me of the post going on about the Giants before they beat us.

Re: Philly is strugglin....
how come when the skins sign big free agents, and they suck, its news. but when the eagles do it, not a word? Kearse and Howard have alot of money tied up in the eagles cap, and both suck. but no one says anything? why do their front office get a free pass?

Letting the Bears drive 97 yds in 1:00 is bad and as much as I can't stand Philly , I was very happy! LMAO! ......but on another note...immediately after I read your post...I thought how ironic and close what you wrote could have easily been written for us had Neil Racker's field goal gone in :o( |

So you get Kearse and Howard.
Neither is really helping them though. If the Eagles want to get better on offense, they are going to have to improve the QB position. I think that's why they drafted Kolb. Donovan can go deep in the playoffs if you give him an elite defense, but I really think he's holding his offense back right now. |

Maybe by looking back over the past 5 years and the difference in the teams winning records. |
Re: Philly is strugglin....
My point is why beat them down when we could easily be in their shoes?

Hmm I remember early in the year Jansen went down and I questioned why not pick up more experienced linemen instead of wide receivers. I got chewed out (RobH4413&TheMalcolmConnection)now look at the o-line LOLOLOLOLOL. Then again I don't think the Pats oline would help the skins score points. Christ, Llyod still has more catches than Caldwell which is just one freaking catch. LOL |

Because this is the first year Philly isn't dominating the division in, like, a hundred billion years. If we could just dominate for 1 or 2 years I'll shut the hell up for at least a decade. |

Re: Philly is strugglin....
Philly started pretty bad in 2003 also, and then got a few fluke plays and ended up winning a bunch of games.
If Westbrook stays healthy, that team will be around at the end of the year. I doubt they can jump three teams though. They didn't have a whole lot of divisional competition back in 2003. |

Yeah, give me a break... statistically, Philly's so-called "dominance" was nothing more than a blip on the radar during some dark years for the Cowboys, Giants, and Redskins. IIRC, their lifetime W-L in the division is only slightly better than what the Cards' was when they were in the division. Philadelphia always returns to a default state of mediocre-bad because it's what the evil, trashy fans there deserve. It's football karma! |
