Ranking wildcard contenders...where are skins?
Below are the 6 teams with modest winning records.
Who is the weakest team here? Who is the strongest? Is this the correct order of best to worst teams with winning records? Jaguars 5-3 Redskins 5-3 Ravens 4-3 Bucs 5-4 Browns 5-3 |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
I hate to admit this, but I don't think the Redskins could beat the Browns right now. They can score too many points.
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
I wouldn't call 5-2 a "modest" winning record. The Steelers are legit.
I'm really not sure what the point of this is anyway. |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
i think its just another reason to bitch about the skins

It will definitely turn in to that even if it wasn't the intent. |

That was my initial thought, too. |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
The Ravens, closely followed by the Browns and then us.
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
The intent was not to complain about the skins..
I just want to know your objective opinions of these teams and where we rank among them |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
jaguars, too many qb problems
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
Thats easy, its the Skins. The Skins have almost no offense and an average D.

Who is the weakest team here? Who is the strongest? (I wish I knew how to do a poll on this one.) Is this the correct order of best to worst teams with winning records? Steelers 5-2 Jaguars 5-3 Redskins 5-3 Ravens 4-3 Bucs 5-4 Browns 5-3
Ravens, Redskins, and the Bucs are the weakest teams. The Browns can score points and they have a strong running game, the Jags have QB issues but that D is solid and that running game is pretty good. Steelers lost to Denver which is a head scratcher but their D is very solid, their running game is strong and they have Big Ben. |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
The freaking Browns! Are you kidding me! They beat no defense Cincy a mediorce aging team in Seattle! They lost to Oakland. And have two wins coming against the Rams and Dolphins (where they gave up 31 points.)
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
The Browns have no 'D' and their running game doesn't scare anyone.
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
Jamal Lewis has 6 TDs 4 coming aginst the Seahawks who have no run defense.
|

Thank you at least someone agrees with me |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
Like the Skins beat anyone legit....get out of here.

oh yeah the fact that we beat the lions 34-3, is nothing the same lions that are 6-2 and supposedly scaring everyone. |

I thought the same thing when I saw the thread. You can fool me once but can't fool me twice. |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
What about the Lions? I'm still not a believer.
If the Skins take care of business with the Eagles, then take them off this list. But as of right now, we lose in the face of real competition, and do just enough to get by with the mediocre. |

It's the Lions, THE LIONS! |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
The Lions are starting to impress me. They are running the ball and playing D. They weren't doing those two things when the Skins played them.
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
I've seen about 5 Lions games this year and they are definitely improving as a team. Marinelli/Martz is not too unlike Gibbs/Saunders in that one is working with the other to create a more balanced attack. It helps the Lions that Kevin Jones is healthy again.
The Lions looked great against the Broncos yesterday. However, it was the Broncos. The most overrated team in the league in my opinion. And most of the game the Broncos were "led" by Patrick Ramsey who made, not surprisingly, some horrific decisions and was not helped by his receivers who dropped some easy passes. |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
On another note...there are several 500 teams....who is the best here?
Chargers Saints Seahawks Panthers Bills Chiefs Are any of these teams better than the teams with winning records? Is this the right order from top to bottom? (I removed the Steelers...cause they are 5-2 and pretty good) I'm pretty much trying to get a feel for wildcard teams down the stretch Jaguars 5-3 Redskins 5-3 Ravens 4-3 Bucs 5-4 Chargers 4-4 Saints 4-4 Browns 5-3 Seahawks 4-4 Panthers 4-4 Bills 4-4 Chiefs 4-4 |

He still forces balls into coverage and makes throws that just make you scratch your head in wonder. |

Buffalo got rid of Spikes, Nate C. and Willis, plus they have injuries and are playing rookies and they are 500. Could be over 500 if not for that miracle the Girls pulled out. Very impressive. But the 500 team playing the best football is NO. They are better than a 500 football team. They are going to be a factor in the NFC playoff race. |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
Browns and Ravens are the weakest in the group, followed by us.
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
Does it really matter they all have winning records?
AS WE DO...... |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
I would say te Lions, at two loses are a weak team w/ many wins.
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
we are the weakest team. I hate to say it but its true. If we don't get our passing game going a little better we wont be able to beat any decent teams.
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
like they said another thread to bitch about the skins.
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
skins
ravens browns bucs jags in that order |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
Everyone who is saying the Redskins, what are you basing it on?
|

Who cares at this point, let 'em hate. |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
ravens, bucs, browns, jags, then us..
i dont see ne of those teams beating us.... at all |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
guess we will find out about the bucs soon enough
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
I've only seen Detroit twice this year, against Philly then against Washington. I'm having a hard time seeing them as a strong 6-2 given what they showed me in those two games. Their 2nd half schedule gets significantly tougher (GB twice, Dallas, NYG, @SD, @Arizona, @Minnesota). I wouldn't be surprised if they went 2-6 the second half of this season.
|
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
well the reasons the skins is we cant score on offense. Only decent team we beat is the DET, when we played good teams we lost GB<NYG<NE. Struggle against the Dolphins,JETS who record combind is 1-15. No pass rush, injured oline. No touchdowns by WR this year, coach who doesnt have faith in JC. Defense got exposed by good QB's when we played them Brady,Manning.

Ditto, ditto, and ditto. I love how "some people" bitch about people bitching about the Skins. Why do hardcore Skins fans bitch about their team being 5-3? Because the Skins are NOT a good team. This team barely beat the freakin Dolphins and the Jets. The offense is sad, and the defense is only slightly above average. Good forbid we call a spade a spade. We are all fans of a very very mediocre team, in an extremely mediocre division. But for heavens sake, dont bitch, just ask for a refill of the Kool Aid cause Gibbs and Company will turn it around! By the way, why does it say "Paulskinsfan is in danger of being benched" under my avatar? While I'll disagree with some of you, I usually have the stats or at least a logical argument to back it up, so what's up with that? |
Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
your going to get in trouble for saying that PSF, im not very popular on here lol

The Cowboys and the Giants look quite legit to me. Both can get after the QB on defense, and have multiple offensive weapons that they aren't afraid to deploy in the passing game. I long for the Skins to utilize Moss, Cooley, and Randle El to put pressure opposing D's the way Dallas and NY do in the passing game.
