The Redskins take the lead into the 4th quarter, and have trouble going mortal kombat on that ass (FINISH HIM?). Romo gets knocked around a bit, and Pierson Prioleau has a great day filling in for Sean Taylor. Portis get 100 and a TD, and the receiving corps of ARE, McCardell and Caldwell do an adequate job getting open for Campbell. However, the O-Line gets roughed up all day. Nick "The Kick" Folk misses the game winner from 50+. I could ramble on like this some more, but I won't.

(Remember that I said I was drinking the kool-aid this week...)

our D will make amends for last weeks collapse, plays strong and scores a TD and gets a safety, the ball will bounce our way, we will get a special teams TD or great field position, first play of second half we hit them up for a big pass play, sellers will get more action near the goalline like last year and score 2 tds . . . we will find a way to win.

In 5 of 9 games the Cowboys have scored over 30 points.

In 9 of 9 games they have not scored less than 25 in any game all season. They put up 27 on the #1 ranked defense in the Cowboys only loss. I figured they could put up 4 more points in this one.

In contrast in only 2 of 9 games the Redskins have score 25 or MORE points. And that was my reasoning.

To win the Redskins will have to do something that no team has been able to do all season, and that is keep the Cowboys UNDER 25 points. Even with that 6 turnover game at Buffalo, the Cowboys still managed 25 points.

Additionally to win the Redskins will have to do something they have only done ONCE all year, and that is score more than 25 points.

This one is a tough one to swallow for me:

My heart says Skins 24 Cowpukes 23

My head is saying Cowpukes 35 Skins 14

Who knows, its a rivalry game and we have played well in Dallas over the past couple years. All I know is that I will be watching and screaming and fighting my guts out.

Alright, if i have too.

Playing w/out Jansen, Thomas, Moss, Lloyd, Thrash, Taylor, Rogers, Washington (maybe), the skins will use the much feared tandem of Farris and Caldwell to score early and often. The defense playing w/out half of their secondary and an ailing Smoot will hold one of the NFL's top O's under 21 pts. Final score: Skins 24 Boys 20

But seriously, the skins absolutely cannot come into this game just running the ball. We got to have good mix to open up the D a little bit. I don't think we can run on this D, when they put 8 in the box. Which they will . One name Randel El...time to step up.

What's the defense's approach? My take...blitzes. What do you have to lose? Make Romo make mistakes. Landry anyone? Mix it up but lets see some blitzes. The defense needs to put some pts on the board or put the o in some good spots.

Dallas has a better team than we do right now. That doesn't mean we can't win though.

Are you KIDDING!? I cant WAIT for the 4th quarter! Considering all the halftime leads and 4th quarter meltdowns the Skins have had (20 points by the Eagles last week in the fourth, the loss to the Giants etc...)

Not to mention that the Cowboys offense is a SCORING MACHINE after halftime. They have scored well over half of thier point totals in every game in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

Defense too. Last week at the Giants the defense held the Giants to 3 points while the offense put up a 14 spot. It was 17-17 at the half and the fianl was 31-20. Dallas is a much better team in the second half.

The redskins are a good team. They could've been 8-1 in this season. The 2nd half collapse are what ruined them in every game. The cowboys are a good team with the win over teams that the redskins couldn't defeat. Also, the cowboys challenged the patriots in the early going of the game. The redskins were dominanted from kickoff to finish.

Records don't count in a rivalry game like this because anything can happen. I don't expect this game to be a blow out on any way, shape, or form from either side. I think it will be a good close game that will come down to the end like most of the Cowboy/Redskin games.

I don't go against the Redskins on any game.

I see things have change around here. Before it was like why is a Dallas fan posting here and stuff like that. I have always commented by saying "that they all have been respectfull and give a different side". Now most are just agreeing with him and saying we have no chance. I guess this rivalry is just a one sided match of how much will they beat us by. In that Monday Night game where Moss caught those last minutes TD's I said before the game we just need on more point than them and the final score was 14 to 13. I'll say it one more time just one more point and we can watch all those Dallas fans once again with those dumb looking faces of "what just happened".

I think this will be ugly. Dallas will key on the run and they will be successful stopping it. The offensive line will struggle opening holes in the running game and protecting the quarterback. Jason Campbell and his new receiver corps will also struggle mightily. Defensively we'll give up no less than five plays of more than 40 yards because we can't get pressure on Romo and we can't cover their receivers, tight end and backs out of the backfield at the same time.

Bad day for Skins fans.

I think the game will be a lot different DAL 13 WAS 13 going into overtime. Suisham kicks the game winning field goal after Roy Williams gives 15 yards penalty for his infamous horse collar tackle. WAS 16 DAL 13 6-4

It's a prediction thread, and what you see before you are predictions. Some think Washington will win, some think Dallas will win. It has nothing to do with loyalty. Dallas is playing better, they are less injured and they are playing at home. That's probably why some are picking Dallas, me included. Still a diehard Skins fan here, but I have to be honest too. Dallas in a runaway.

I'm never giving up my Redskins fan card. I will root for the Skins until the last play but I have to be real. Without Sean Taylor, Carlos Rogers, Fred Smoot, Marcus Washington, Randy Thomas, Jon Jensen, Pete Kendall, Santana Moss, James Thrash, ..., I can't dream of a scenario in which the Skins can stop the Girls or even score enough points to beat them.

I think it was a big step for both our coaching staff and our offense to take the reins off JC and open it up. We've got to do it again to have any chance this weekend. The offense has got to take some pressure off our nicked up defense for a change. Dallas' secondary is their weakness. I say attack attack attack. If we try to play conservative and grind, we're gonna get blown out.

This Dallas team is SO cocky. I'm tired of Romo's little sh!t eating grin and TO's mouthy arrogance. God I wish #21 was playing. He loves smacking TO around. I want to win this one really badly, but I just don't see it happening.

Everyone seems to be drinking the realist Kool-Aid this week, instead of the inspirational Kool-Aid that was whipped up this week...while I don't blame them, lead with your heart this week, not your head.
