fabini has done decent enough for being a natural right tackle playing right guard, for the first time in his career? i think i heard that somewhere may be wrong, but thomas is a top guard in this league. what a boost it would be to get him back in a game or 2

I wonder what kind of shape he will be in once he finally returns to the starting lineup. He's a dominant run-blocker when healthy, but I've got to wonder if he is going to be rusty and/or weak. If my arm was in a sling for several weeks it would probably look like a noodle.

You know, I bet they sort of condition that arm back along the way. You know, once the sling came off, he was probably doing some light arm movement drills and such. I think if he puts on the uniform, all he really needs to do is get his sea legs back.

Fabini has played exceptional the last three games. Can't argue with getting Thomas back though :)

This is great news don't get me wrong. I would love to see him back in the lineup but only if he is REALLY ready to play. I don't want a still injured Randy Thomas in the lineup when maybe a healthy Fabini would be a better choice. If he's good to go though and can play some real ball then all the power to him!

Excellent news!! As we start getting some of the injured back our team will get stronger just in time for when we need every swinging soul.

Yes sir, best bit of news we've had in a good while. Thomas has something most guys on the offensive side of the ball don't have - a mean streak. Big Mike has it off and on but mainly it's Thomas who gets nasty out there and fires up the guys. We've missed him more than any other offensive player IMO.

Aside from the fact that 10 other significant players missed practice Wednesday, sure...

But getting Randy back is dandy. Sounds to me like he'll be ready for the Buffalo game.

great news but i hope they work him in slowly .... i tell ya we need some quality bodies back in the lineup but healthy bodies aew the upmost important as we start our stretch run.
