Time to face the music...The pats will finish out

So im watching the game today and like most of you hoping that the patriots will get their due buttkicking.Maybe i woulve been on board if they weren't so arrogant,or if they didnt beat our heads into the ground.heck if it was the pats of 01' i wouldve embraced it.But every curve ball we threw them this season they bust a David Ortiz and blast it out of the park.Im actually happy we're having the season we our(except the untimely death of our fallin brother sean taylor),because there going to win it all anyway so at least we wont get our hopes up.im optimistic and i wanna hope we come together and play out the next three games for sean and win them all,get into the playoffs and run the table. But thats a vegas long shot.Me being a cali boy i hope my home town san diego chargers be the one to put us out of our misery.who has the best chance in your eyes.

Only hope to defeat them would be the Giants but I doubt it

The Colts are the only hope, maybe the Jags (good D but O is suspect). I really want them to go undefeated in the regular season only to be defeated in the playoffs...I'm salivating, homer style, just thinking about the potability.

You guys clearly are not paying attention. The Dolphins will be the team to simultaneously end both their winless and the Pat's unbeaten streak. Write it down...

Bleed: I was actually thinking the same thing. How ironic would that be.

Is Mercury Morris getting on anyone elses nerves? I almost want the pats to win out just to shut him up, but I hate them. Why cant a team like the Colts be doing this. I like the Colts =(

Agree Daseal, I'm watching the Colts now. And get this... they're up big so they put the backup qb in! Haven't seen N.E. do that yet...

If the Dolphins go winless, that is really pathetic... man one can hope that they beat the Pats, but that would be like asking for a White Christmas in Miami.

I actually hope the Pats will win out, just so they can lose their Divisional game at home and all their work this season was all for not. Muh haa haa haa haa haa.......

I hope they lose a game. Just too damn cocky.

Actually some friends and I were talking that same scenario. How awesome would that be? Highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened. My other dream is for them to win out only to lose by either 1 point or flat out get their asses kicked in the playoffs. That would actually be the most humiliating way to end a undefeated season.

But at least they'd have the undefeated. I want them to lose a game AND lose in the first round... but then again, its unlikely to happen.

The '72 Dolphins and in particular Don Shula strike me as pretty arrogant too. Something about Shula really rubs me the wrong way.

Someone needs to put the Pats in their place... I'd love to see Indy take em out.

Could it be the fact that they beat the Skins in the SB?

yeah perfect story line...last year the chargers was the team to beat..they embarrassed the pats in foxboro early on..then in the divisional the pats returned the favor to the chargers.now its a total role reversal.the pats are the team to beat who embarrased the chargers and chances are they will meet in the divisional...paybacks a b****.

No, I mean I wasn't born then so it doesn't bother me that much quite honestly. Don Shula openly roots against teams that are challenging his team's record, which is kind of lame (I believe you should be graceful in those situations) but that doesn't really bother me all that much either.

I think what gets to me about Shula is, and I could be wrong, that he seems to not want any Dolphins coach to succeed. Like it would tarnish his legacy.

I am so sick of the 72 Dolphins and all their nonsense. Sending Champagne to the coaches having parties to celebrate their record every year. Fitting they lose it the same season the Fish go 0-16. Assuming the Giants have their play-off spot locked up, I'll root for the Pats to finish 16-0.

LOL. That should be a sig.

I hope the Dolphins beat the Pats to go 1-15, and the Pats finish 15-1. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised, either. Weird stuff like that happens in the NFL all the time.

I don't really get all the Pats hate on our board.. We're not division rivals or anything.. Sure they hung 94 points or something like that on us, but appreciate greatness when you see it.. It's a lot more bearable than the Cowboys in the '90's!!!

i wasnt hurt with them running up the score really...i didnt think of it that way..but the way they carry themselves now is what disturbs me..

they dont carry themselves low at all.. if anything they are humble about killing every team they play. if you see them on PTI or Around the Horn or any show like that they dont talk smack or anything. they realize that they are a very good team.. but they also realize that they have a lot of work to do. and i appreciate that they dont go out sayin that no one can beat them.

First of all, lets differentiate between true humility and condescension. Truly humble teams do not run up the score just to make a point, do not act like the rest of the world is at fault because they dared to catch them cheating, do not give such asinine press conferences etc...

These clowns "say" the right things but it's so obviously contrary to what they truly believe that you lose respect for them when you watch them. You know you're being lied to. I'd respect them alot more if they gave up the fake "we're just an ok team, trying to win a game like any other, hopefully we can handle the jets this week" bullshit and admitted that they were a) looking to make a point that their previous run of wins was not tainted and that b) they were specifically going to make the Jets sorry they ever brought up Spygate.

I honestly never liked the patriots, but I never disliked them either. I was truly ambivalent. But Brady has gradually assumed his coach's personality and that's a bad thing. He's become very bitter and unhappy when he's interviewed, which makes you think, "if you're so unhappy in success, then you must be a truly miserable human being." The end effect is that now I root against them. I hope a team that appreciates success can be able to defeat them, because this whole "Patriot Way" b.s. is getting old.
