I think we will win, but it won't be easy. It doesn't matter who's on the field, the Cowboys are gonna come in and try to spoil our playoff chances. If Brad Johnson plays, he's going to play with a chip on his shoulder (like he usually does against us). I hope they hit him in the mouth a couple of times.

I won't predict a score, but I will predict that the Skins will win.

Similar to the Vikes game. We jump on them and crush them in the first half. We then get conservative, giving up all kinds of short passes, and we let them back in it a bit. But the clock winds down in our favor at the end.

Like you said, I think it will be a tough game no matter who they put out on the field.

I just hope it's a playoff atmosphere at FedEx, which it should be, and we can get a little help from the crowd. I'll be there trying to do my part.

As like last week its time for another 30+ showing for the Skins and our D holds Dalls to a bunch of 3 and outs.

Man I wish I did not sell my tickets to this game. Its my daughters 1st birthday so its not all that bad. Can you say Skins vs Dallas/daughters 1st birthday party all mixed into one and victory/birthday cake after the game. I hope she likes hot wings. The good thing is my wife's friend who purchased the tic's her family is a big skins fans and I told them when they bought the tics they could be watching a big game.

We were defending Super Bowl champs at the time (11/83) so I think everyone was more interested in talking about the team than talking about the sick little kid upstairs, but I can't say I blame them.

Again, my prediction is "pain-free" for the opposition (I love superstition!), however I think the Skins will want it more.

If we can't beat their second string, we have no business making the playoffs anyway. 24-13 Skins.

Brad Johnson scares me because he is smarter than T. Jackson that the Skins played last week. I just hope they rest Marion Barber and play J. Jones. Jones doesn't scare me at all. Cowboys are not the same team without T.O. They won't be able to maintain long drives. FED-X will be rocking, we will win this game in a close contest.

Regardless of what happens this weekend we should all be proud to be Redskin fans! These guys have "fought their guts out" and really showed great character through very adverse times.

It's interesting how the media has already determined that the Cowboys are going to play their backup players and rest their starters. I understand the logic, but I'm not so sure the 'Pokes are just gonna take a flyer on this game and roll over. I fully expect a battle that ends in a close score. However, given that we have EVERYTHING to lose and Dallas has very little, I think we will come out ahead in this matchup.

P.S. This has probably already been mentioned elsewhere, but isn't our current situation eerily similar to our '05 season? This time however we have a chance to go to Seattle in the first round of playoffs instead of Tampa. Let's hope we have a different outcome this time around if we make it (of course we make it right?).

It was funny last night my wife said that she could open her gifts durn half time. I said that was OK as long as she can open her gifts in 15min.

Over the last 2 games I haven't predicted anything and we've won so I'm gonna keep doing that. And just say if the Cowboys are planning on resting their starters for the majority of the game, the Redskins need to thrash 'em.

You can't be a playoff team if you end up struggling against the reserves. :doh:

Alright, I think this is a game that will make us all nervous around the half, and than we'll pull away in the second against their second stringers and win something like 31-20. This will not be easy, but I think were playing good football, and like others have said, if we cant beat their second stringers, we really dont have business in the playoffs....If we see this team in two weeks...Than its going to fun.

I gotta say all the talk about them playing their second stringers makes me nervous. I heard on the radio that romo is playing the first half. T O is out, but crayton is playing i think and they're getting back terry glenn, who will be playing. They have some speedsters with hands at reciever and something like 11 pro bowlers. I don't think they'll be resting that many starters...

we're definitely going to have to earn this one, but we're at home and our team should be pretty amped...

I predict heavy blitzing up the gut.
I understand their starting center wont be starting...imagine landry on run blitzes and Doughty on 3rd downs.
It would even be better against Brad Johnson since he doesn't move well.

They will probably hold in a RB or Block down with the guards which could leave the edges open....

I predict the Skins deliver 4 sacks

well then there no prediction from me either,but I'm very worried this is a "trap" game.Were favored by almost 10 points,everybody thinks the cowboys will rest their starters,and so on.I just hope the skins arent buying into it and come out fired up for this game and dont think its going to be a cakewalk.The thing that scares me is even though the cowboys have nothing to gain they also have nothing to lose,so they dont have to play it close to the vest,they can take chances,fake punts,going for it on 4th down when they shouldnt,stuff like that.Either they play conservative so not to show their next opponent anything,or maybe they try a bunch of shit they normally wouldnt do to give their next opponent more to prepare for.Plus they owe us for knocking them out in 05.
If memory serves,the last time we played the boys in a similar situation was the last game at rfk,cowboys rested their starters and we blew them out,but we had nothing to gain besides beating them,hopefully history will repeat itself and we can blow them out again
