That's beyond reproach. What a scumbag. I'm no lawyer, but I think legal ramifications for physical abuse on a pregnant woman should be more severe than on a male or non-pregnant female. You should be charged with two counts instead of one.

Just looked it up and only 11 states and DC still follow common law. 26 don't anymore and 13 never did. Looks like Mathis just happened to be in one of the 11?

Yea I had a ex I was staying with she took me to court and we had to get a divorce before I could get married for real. I hope they discontinue that law asap that was hell to deal with.
