Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
It's going to be a disappointing Redskins Christmas for those with high hopes.

Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
I think the Redskins converted to Judaism this year because it doesn't sound like they are gonna celebrate Christmas.

Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
I don't think Joe would have approved of your statement.

Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
We're celebrating Mexican Christmas this year. Our presents are coming in in late April. I think thats around the same time the wise men came to visit the NFL. Which is great because we haven't celebrated Mexican Christmas for a long time.

Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
I thought our Christmas was February 2009 when we are holding the Lombardi Trophy.

Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
If you go to the main page on that link, they have a picture of the Grinch and a title of Christmas has been canceled.
Vinny is given credit for being the Grinch. |
Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
I don't think we're going to just sit on our asses during free agency. We'll be players, just not huge players.

we are just not going to try and outbid everyone |
Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
I hope we get some young promising players this year on free agency. Until Campbell fully develops, and I don't know how long that's going to take, we're probably not going to win a Superbowl. Therefore, I don't really want to sign anyone who's over 28 years old. Yes, Fletcher was a good pickup last year, and he's old, but we cannot keep doing that. We need to get some guys who in a few seasons from now, when Campbell understands how to play the NFL game better, are starting to fire on all cylinders. Who knows how much longer guys like Fletcher, Springs, Smoot, and our offensive line are going to be productive. We need to go into this free agency looking to get players who will be developed in a few season, not a win right now philosophy.

Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
All i want for christmas is a ten win season.

Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
Well no big time free agency for the Skins. JLC of the WashPost reports that they are just going after Collins. He did mention possible trades...but who, he doesn't know.
In other news, it seems that the Raiders are pulling one of our stunts, going after a lot of free agents and overpaying people (tommy kelly). |
Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
Raiders might be getting Gibril Wilson too
Redskins will be players, they're just going to wait a little |

Looks like that 9 million owed to D. Robertson will make things difficult. Hopefully he becomes the next in a line of succesful Jetskins. Yes I know there have been unsuccesful ones but lets say that it goes R. Thomas > S. Moss > P. Kendall > D. Robertson? |

nope, 3 way trade to get him with the broncos (trust me, you don't want robertson, his own fans hate him). broncos give a 2nd and foxworth to lions, lions give rogers to the jets. jets win. lions win. broncos lose. badly. |
Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
my shopping list:
dj hackett (4mill per average) cb dyson (<2mill per average) TE ben troupe (<3mill per average, maybe cheaper) C mike flynn (backup C, near vet min) if collins doesn't re-up, grab gus if rock leaves, get tyson thompson for kick returns/3rd rb (his roles on the roids) |
Re: It’s Almost Redskins Christmas Eve!
Who the hell would go out any buy a domain named after Jim Zorn? Jesus.

Jesus bought a domain named after Jim Zorn? Doesn't he have more important things to do? :cheeky-sm Seriously, maybe it's because I'm conditioned by the past 8 years, but the first thing I did this morning was go to The Warpath & WP Insider to see what we had done. I'll be honest, I was a little disappointed that we hadn't done anything, but no more disappointed in years of futility. Hopefully this offseason marks a positive change. |
