Early win loss poll.

what do you think our record will be? I know it's early, but what we have done has given us all hope and we're curious to see what we think the Skins can and will do.

16-0
15-1
14-2
13-3
12-4
11-5
10-6
9-7
8-8
7-9
6-10
5-11
(no way am I going farther!)

(mods, how come there is no section to run a poll?)

joehardee 03-03-2004 12:30 PM

yes a good combo, i here Dallas is looking at Garcia

jbcjr14 03-03-2004 12:35 PM

I say 10-6 and a wild card birth.

As a prediction, I'm thinking 16-0.

Phinehas 03-03-2004 12:40 PM

I'll vote 9-7, and at least one playoff win.

I like your thinking.

cpayne5 03-03-2004 01:16 PM

Super Bowl Champs, and the '72 phins won't pop the cork on a bottle of champagne this year!

Skinsgirl 03-03-2004 01:50 PM

11-5

SmootSmack 03-03-2004 02:08 PM

16-0, Ya Gotta Believe!!....otherwise I'll say 11-5

backrow 03-03-2004 03:26 PM

8-8!

8-8! Just like Gibbs first go around! We all know what happened after that!

x44x 03-03-2004 03:54 PM

hah

12-4 easy...

SKINS73 03-03-2004 10:18 PM

9 - 7 with a sweep of the Eagles...

Duffman003 03-04-2004 07:05 AM

I dont think its right to think about what our record will be, last year everyone thought we would go 11-5 and no one tought the panthers would win the superbowl. NFL is too spuratic to predict who will win the superbowl and what the teams records will be.

beg8878 03-04-2004 10:40 AM

11-5 maybe a win in the first round. I'll be happy with that season. anything more is gravy

I agree that it is way to early to predict a record and chances are most of us will be way off, but it doesn't hurt and is fun to look back and remember what you thought would happen and what really did....so lets hear what you think as of right now what our record will be.

SittingBull 03-05-2004 01:18 AM

Reminds me of that ESPN commercial. You have 6 months to get your story straight hehe

Jamaican'Skin 03-05-2004 07:51 AM

Really feeling a 10-6 season here. I think we have the talent and the right coaching staff to take us to the wild card round and even win one playoff game.

Skins fan 44 03-05-2004 08:16 AM

Hopefully 11-5. Realistically 9 or 8 wins.

GO SKINS!!

Sheriff Gonna Getcha 03-05-2004 06:26 PM

I said 7-9 last year and I thought that was a realistic guess.

Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I say we'll go 10-6. Portis alone gets us 2 more wins.

Gmanc711 03-05-2004 08:44 PM

Plus add 4 for Gibbs.

DA Hogs 03-05-2004 09:17 PM

13-3 NFC East champs and a win or 2 in the playoffs but not quite all the way...

SittingBull 03-05-2004 09:22 PM

You guys predicting losses under 5 should pick what teams you think we'll lose to ;)

DA Hogs 03-05-2004 09:25 PM

as long as they are not to D****s it will be a good year !!

jsarno 03-11-2004 04:24 PM

I just really doubt an 8-8 season is ahead of us with all the coaching and player talent we aquired. On paper we might be one of, if not the best team in the league.

MTK 03-11-2004 05:59 PM

way too early to tell, I won't even bother making a prediction just yet.

SkinsRock 03-12-2004 08:22 AM

I have said it before... I believe that if Gibbs was coaching last years exact team, they would have had at least 2-3 more wins. The improvements in the coaching staff plus the new players should get them at least a couple more.

11-5, a division title, and at least a game or two into the playoffs.

cpayne5 03-12-2004 08:39 AM

Yeah, we lost like 6 games by 4 points or less? The coaching staff we have now could make up for half of those losses. So thats 8-8. With the addition of Portis, we should see double digit wins.

Duffman003 03-12-2004 02:24 PM

Im not going to vote because anything could happen. Last year eveyone thought we would go 11-5 or 10-6 and everyone was way off.

RedskinRat 03-12-2004 04:06 PM

16-0, Super Bowl, followed by 2005 season seeing the hiring of Ditka and other over-the-hill coaches by the rest of the NFL.

Daseal 03-12-2004 05:26 PM

Good, we'll get another awesome draft. Hurray for Ditka!

I'm abstaining too, Duffman. I don't want to do anything to jinx Coach Gibbs. Instead of hoping, expecting and predicting this year, I'm just going to sit back, watch and enjoy!

johnnyredskin63 03-12-2004 06:12 PM

i'm gonna hold off too.let me see how the first exhibition game looks like so i can compare it to the last exhibition game of the year.i do'nt want to jinx anybody, but i do have high hopes for the next few years.

frogprincess 03-12-2004 07:53 PM

11-5, but I'll be happy as long as we beat Dallas!

SittingBull 03-12-2004 09:38 PM

Predicting now doesnt mean youre setting it in stone hehe. Just predict by what you see right now. Im 100% sure that a carbon copy of this thread will be started right before the season so you can change your answer then. Plus it will be interesting to see how our predictions changed.
