New Fan Club Wanted

Man - my boy Ade has been burned more times than a Ricky Williams' joint. I'm not sure I can hang in there anymore!

Any suggestions for a new Fan Club for me to start??

SKINSnCANES 08-16-2004 12:03 PM

CHRIS COOLEY!!!! hes becoming one of my favorite skins already, both on the field and off(off meaning madden, heh) Hes a blue collar guy that is goign to get it done for us.

BrunellFan 08-16-2004 12:08 PM

Kenyatta Jones

Gmanc711 08-16-2004 12:36 PM

I was gonna say Cooley as well.

EEich 08-16-2004 12:47 PM

Cooley

backrow 08-16-2004 01:17 PM

Chris Samuels

Chris Samuels needs some love, man!

I was wondering when you'd see the light, and change your stripes!

Defensewins 08-16-2004 01:29 PM

If you wanted to stick with a DB, you can pick FS Andre Lott.

hank64 08-16-2004 02:01 PM

Stick to reserve DB's. Dennis Franz fan club!!!!

Redskins_P 08-16-2004 02:02 PM

What about our boy Sultan? The Mccullough fan club!

I like Cooley too. Another good one is Tim Hasselbeck.

JWsleep 08-16-2004 02:12 PM

Wait it out and go with the biggest underdog who makes the team. Still, Denis Franz is pretty cool. You could get a NYPD Blue avatar.

LOL on the Ricky comment.

SmootSmack 08-16-2004 02:40 PM

John Simon or maybe Gari Scott

Additionally, I'm going to need a new running mate Smack/Jimoh '04 just ain't happening no more.

Drift Reality 08-16-2004 02:43 PM

Personally, I think the Pita Elisara fan club would be in order. I think he looks funny and he is named after a type of bread.

LOL. I'm surprised that guy is still here! "Quick Pita" Elisara.

sportscurmudgeon 08-16-2004 03:29 PM

Start the Cliff Russell Fan Club.

At least he won't be abusing poor Ade in practice...

SmootSmack 08-16-2004 03:37 PM

Poor Ade, he's about to get cut most likely. He'll have plenty of time to log on to the warpath.net and see about this fan club that Crisp has been telling him about and he'll see this thread!

Ade Jimoh Fan Club 08-16-2004 04:55 PM

Does Ade actually look at this site?? Man, I don't want to let him down just because he's letting all of us down. I will stand by my boy until he's cut!

Although the Pita Elisara idea is pretty damn nice...

BDBohnzie 08-16-2004 04:56 PM

i thought his name was Todd Franz. . .that would be my vote if keeping with reserve DBs...

if overall team is considered, I'd say Chris Cooley or Ethan Albright

Drift Reality 08-16-2004 05:03 PM

Listen,

It's fairly obvious that Pita Elisara is the way to go.

With Jansen out, he moves up from fifth to fourth on the depth chart and I'd say there was at least a 50% chance of him making the developmental squad. Next stop pro bowl.

Also, he is a veteran of NFL Europe and that makes him sweet. I saw this feature on NFL Europe in some magazine (I can't remember - one of the NFL preview ones) and there were all these pictures of Pita Elisara drinking beer with European chicks.

I think the debate is over.

SKINSnCANES 08-16-2004 05:04 PM

when is bauman going to step into his own. he was personally tutored by green, then under champ and smott...youd think hed be the smartest corner in the league by now.

I've heard that the whole 'player as a mentor' thing is overrated. It was Mike Holmgren who said that. The only person responsible for mentoring players is the coach. And that's it.

and bauman has been good, but he came on as a gunner mainly, its not like he got a huge amount of face time with those guys like smoot did... and i agree that player coaches are overrated.

Daseal 08-16-2004 05:41 PM

Rashad Bauman!

Big C 08-16-2004 06:08 PM

Andre Lott, Kenyatta Jones, or Taylor Jacobs. TJ gets no love anywhere.

That Guy 08-16-2004 06:27 PM

i liked him a lot last year, but since that injury he just hasn't shown up to play.

MTK 08-16-2004 06:43 PM

Guys, there's only one player worth of following in Ade's fanclub footsteps

The man, the myth, the legend, I give you...

That Guy 08-16-2004 07:08 PM

wow, look at all the teams that guy hasn't played for lol. There's gotta be a law against rhyming first and last names...

Big C 08-16-2004 08:11 PM

I saw him get toasted a few times, dont bother with his fan club, hell be gone soon enough. Im starting the Andre Lott fan club, who would have thought hed be playing witht he first team at this point?

beg8878 08-16-2004 08:21 PM

I would say the Gibran Hamdam Fan Club.....is he still alive? last we heard of him, he was in NFL Europe...what happened to him?

That Guy 08-16-2004 09:02 PM

he stunk there too... i know he's a 7th rounder, but i really can't see him doing much in his NFL career... hasslebeck could potentially start somewhere, but hamdam? nah...

Big C 08-16-2004 10:43 PM

ive seen Gibran on the bench at both of the games this pre season, i want him to get some PT.

aehs77 08-16-2004 10:46 PM

kevin mitchell

Big C 08-16-2004 10:50 PM

kevin mitchell always seems to play well. he is in the right place most of the time and is very smart.
