Football season is upon us again! In keeping with recent tradition, on behalf of the Warpath Front Office welcome back all our Warpath veterans and extend a warm welcome to our rookie class of 2008.

I look forward to another year of GTripp's play-by-play breakdowns, Schneed's "in the trenches" analyses, Daseal's dissection of the passing game, etc. And I'm excited about the game day and in-season contributions of our new members this season such as DIRTEE, MRJL, and LandrySlice (among others)

For those of you new to this, there is nothing like going through a season on the Warpath. All the off-season banter is fun, but the season is why we joined. There is always someone to share your joys and agonies with, to bounce ideas off of, and learn a little something about football and the Redskins. It's blissfully wonderful when they win and excruciatingly therapeutic when they lose.

As always be respectful of the guidelines Matty has established for this site. If anyone has any questions or issues about anything ever, remember to never hesitate to PM any of the mods. As a reminder, that's Mattyk72, Gmanc711, BrudLee, Summo, CrazyCanuck, TheMalcolmConnection, Sheriff Gonna Getcha, and SmootSmack.

Thanks for the welcome to a new season! I know I don't post very often but I'm on the site catching up on news and threads at least once a day, even in the off season, (a bit more often the last few days), for the last three years. Man I am fired up to start another Redskins season!! Keep up the good work mods, I always look forward to your posts and insights. Thanks once again, and I'll be looking forword to seeing your contributions to the site over the season.

We couldn't afford the cap hit.

This is my third season with the Warpath. It's make it or break it time for me. My production has been steady, but nothing spectacular. I've had a good off-season, but I know it's time for me to step it up. Hopefully I'll stay healthy and put up some quality post counts this season.

I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve. I do every year at this time and I love it. We picked our draft order for my fantasy league last night, the Skins are a week into camp, the first preseason game is just days away... Man oh man, Lord Football hath returned!!

This is my 3rd season on the 'Path, and hopefully it's pro-bowl caliber.

This is gonna be the make or break year for me. It's my 4th season on the 'Path, and I've had steady, if not unspectacular, seasons here. But I'll be eligible for unrestricted free agency after this season, so it's time to step up and show that I can be a fully productive member so I can get that long term deal next year.

I'm in my third year, but Matty locked me down for the long haul. Couldn't go anywhere if I wanted to.

Can't believe I signed that thing. He's not even paying me anything :(

This thread is a good occasion for me to thank all of you guys! As a french, my knowledge of football is limited (like my english...) and reading your posts really helps me to understand the game and the Redskins. I am really glad to be among such of great fans!
