Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
I know this isn't a reliable source but still found it interesting...

Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
He can call himself Seis Nueve for all I care...I'm just glad we didn't trade for him.
|
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
If it takes some of the attention off of the Brett Favre saga then I'm all for it.
|
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
Brilliant marketing decision if you ask me. NFL players get like 15% of their individual jersey sales and an "Ocho Cinco" jersey would sell much more than a "Johnson".
|
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
I'm all for it. Pro wrestlers do it all the time. Maybe he could start wearing a mask and get his own personal "manager" to escort him to the field. That would complete the freak show that is Chad Johnson, I mean Chad Ocho Cinco (COC for short).
I'm really glad the Skins resisted and didn't give up a couple of picks for him. HAIL!! |

I agree with you 100%. Freaking brilllant move on his part if he can get his name changed legally. |

Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...

|
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
Why is this relevant?
|
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
This is probably the coolest thing I've heard in a little while, even if it is retarded.
Probably Parking Lot discussion. |
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...

Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
freaking awesome. That is so funny.
I have always thought of CJ as a jokester more than someone who was actually insane. I'm starting to think he might be a bit insane... |
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
I love this dude! He makes T.O. look like a choir boy. I'm glad all that type of attention is waaaaay over there. I could only imagine if this was T.O. acting like that, or Chad played for the Cowboys.
Haters would just eat that up. This is just Chad's way of legally getting under the Bengals FO's skin. |
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
i can think of more appropriate name. MORON! no first name...just moron.

I don't know how he says this stuff with a straight face. I still think he is funny as shit. Last time he said he would beat a horse in a race and he did right? |
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
It's official.
He's Ocho Cinco now. SportingNews.com - The Sporting Blog - Introducing Mr. Ocho Cinco |
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
I was reading Marvin Lewis' comments about it and he called him Ocho Psycho.
I thought this whole deal is worth a pretty good LOL and a big one of these on CJ err....um...CO's part |

Racist ban imo lol
|
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
If Colt Brennan would change his last name to "Forty-Five"
He could be Colt Forty-Five. His nickname could be The Bumper. J-Dawg. |
I don't know how to feel about this...
Isn't 'Negro' spanish for the color 'black'? What I meant was Oh-so Ghetto. I just hope '85' is 'real' about what ever props he uses(ie wearing gold 'fronts' in a game). I'm concerned if people are laughing at him and not with him... On a lighter note, how about Also-Flavo (Flav)? Sorry if I offended anyone and thanks to those who ignored the post and not feeding into negativity.

You probably should just stop considering you've already been banned once for being insensitive |
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
Why is this thread still open? I mean of all the worthless thing to post about.
|
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
Now thats a good point. Who gives two shits about STINKO or whatever the hell it is this week? This thread is on a road to know where, and getting kind a racy...!
Red lights flashing....should be about time to pull the plug on this one. Does it really have any purpose in life. I DON'T THINK SO! |
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
This name change didn't really hit me until I looked over fantasy football matchups this weekend... it's surreal actually seeing the name "Chad Ocho Cinco" in the Yahoo fantasy rosters lol.

Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
the battle for ocho cinco continues.
nfl: "you want ocho cinco? fine, then you gotta buy all of your johnson jersey's." this is gettng ridiculous. If he wants to pull off a ridiculous publicity stunt, he should have to pay for the consequences...being all of the jerseys the NFL has already paid for and produced with "Johnson" on the back. That's hilarious. I predict Chad WILL buy them all. Then, in less than 5 years after he retires from the NFL, it will be a deja-vu of the MC Hammer story. |
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
If this was Gilbert Arenas and he suddenly decided he wanted to legally change his name to Agent Zero, you know what he would do? He would buy all the Arenas jerseys and donate them to needy kids. This is a tremendous goodwill opportunity staring Senor Cinco right in the face.
|
Re: Chad Johnson wants to change his last name...
Thread not locked?
Awesome. I think he should just buy the jerseys, lest he look like a BIGGER jerk (if thats possible) for changing his name to get it on his jersey and then getting owned. |

Could be. Do you actually think he is smart enough to comprehend that? Or for that matter do anything out of the goodness of his heart. Highly unlikely. |
