Steelers look great!
Wow, Duce and the Steelers are playing great. Even better, the Eagles look crippled and injury riddled.
|
Duce is gonna be a great pickup for them. With him and Bettis they'll have a very nice ground attack. Bettis still has some gas in the tank, but with Duce there he doesn't have to carry the load by himself.

Philly is missing their top 3 LBs.

Doesnt your heart go out to them? :nono: |
Cowboys fans and Redskins fans have something in common. We both hate the Eagles and the Giants!
|
since when has anyone cared about the giants???

Yeah, so I'm at work the other day and this Eagles fan comes up to me (I wear a 'Skins hat at work) and says, with typical Eagles fan class, "At least you ain't a fuckin' cowboys fan." But then he got fired. For drinking at work. GO EAGLES! :party-smi |
That Guy: You remember the Gibbs Parcells rivalry? Well he didnt coach the Cowboys back then.
The Giants will be disciplined this year. Dont underestimate them so much. |
Donovan McNabb looked just as elusive as ever.

hey, the giants were in the super bowl more recently than us, cant underestimate them, especially with michael strahan
|
I hate them all.
But I thought McNabb and Owens looked good, which is worrisome. Never undersetimate McNabb. His scrambling and playmaking is why they got the NFC championships 3 years in a row. And Owens is way better than any receiver they've had. What is promising, though it's too early to tell, given injuries, is that their run defense looks suspect. THe way to beat McNabb and the Eagles is to ball control him right off the field. GO PORTIS!!! Of course, we don't play them until late in the season, so we'll have to wait and see who's still standing. |
I definitely hate them all. A good friend of mine (and die hard Skins fan) used to say it best when asked who he was rooting for during Cowboys - Eagles, Cowboy - Giants, or Philly - NY games....
"Injuries". ;) |

McNabb looked awesome out there, and even worse, it looked as if all of their receivers got a lot better. Maybe they dont have the pressure on them anymore with TO there and they stepped up their game.
The eagles are goign to score this year, but their defense isnt going to be as good. Its going to be a great thing that we got taylor, we're going to need him. I hope the Eagles this year are the chiefs from years ago. Where they score 34 but give up 35, lol. (Before you guys yell, the only reason I hope that is because McNabb is my qb in the warpath money league, lol) |
what were the eagle injuries to there 1st teamers last night? I saw nate wayne being carted off and I heard something about one of their guards but I didn't hear the extent of either player's injuries.
and is it just me or did duce staley's arms getted ripped over the summer cuz I don't remember him being that much muscle on his arms. |
I hear Wayne just had a pulled hammy.
I loved how the Steelers just pounded the ball down their throats. I think it bodes well for our O. |
