Re: Pacman gets in fight
The open question is whether the bodyguard was someone whom Jones had hired, or whether the bodyguard was retained by the team to shadow and/or babysit Jones.
that was the best line in the whole article.i knew we could count on pacman to show his true colors eventually, the guys like a leopard unable to get rid of his spots.it would be great if TO threw a temper tantrun this week would'nt it? |

Re: Pacman gets in fight
After reading more its ironic the commish was actually in town on wednesday (with the cowboys)...
Commish drops by Valley Ranch October 8, 2008 6:03 PM Posted by ESPN.com's Matt Mosley According to sources close to the Beast, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell dropped by the Cowboys' practice facility Wednesday and visited with owner Jerry Jones and the players. Goodell had been in San Antonio meeting with New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson, and he decided to stop over in Dallas to see some old friends. According to coach Wade Phillips, defensive tackle Tank Johnson gave the commissioner a standing ovation when he entered the room. "Tank calls him Roger," joked Phillips. "I call him commissioner." Aren't we having fun. ESPN - NFC East |

JONES SCUFFLED WITH HIS TEAM-ISSUED “BABYSITTER”
Posted by Mike Florio on October 8, 2008, 8:56 p.m. EDT The Dallas Cowboys had no comment about the fight involving cornerback Pacman Jones because the team had no information about the incident. Well, if the team doesn’t have information about the situation, it simply hasn’t bothered to ask for it. Per a league source, the “bodyguard” with whom Jones fought in the bathroom of a Dallas hotel was an off-duty police officer who has been hired by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to babysit Pacman. The source says that the problem started because the babysitter popped off to Jones’ female companion. Jones, who had been drinking, then started up with the guy, and it culminated in a scuffle. Jones, we’re told, had marks on his face at practice on Wednesday. It remains to be seen whether the Cowboys or the league will take any action about the situation. Re: Pacman gets in fight
This news isn't surprising. It was just a matter of time. The good thing is the Redskins don't have distractions like this guy, (and others), in their locker room. Thank Gibbs! The better news is that the cowpokes do. Thanks Jerry!
|
Re: Pacman gets in fight
It was just a matter of time. A punk in a cowgirl uniform is......a punk in a cowgirl uniform. This is what happens when a team is'nt concerned about character. Jones does'nt care what his guys do as long as they win. A souless man with a souless team, and I use the term TEAM loosely.

Re: Pacman gets in fight
I mean who really didn't see this coming? The guy is a total A-hole. It's like he has an addiction to going out and acting a fool. It's the middle of a game week and he's out at movie premiers and getting drunk in bars?? Come on. That's irresponsible for any player, let alone someone is his situation. He's a grade "A" asshole.
Serves Jerry Jones right. Why on earth would you bring in a player that you need to hire FOUR full time baby sitters for anyway? He's a moron GM, Wade is a puppet, and this team is circling the toilet. Implosion is imminent. I'm so HAPPY!!! |

WOW H-town! Thanks for the read. I love hearing how F'd up the Cowroids really are as an organization. I always knew Jerry Jones was a mercenary hiring S.O.B but that is awsome! What a scumbag organization, (I wouldn't wan't it any other way), that's my cowpokes. |

Re: Pacman gets in fight
After watching his play and lack of hearing his name is this a good thing or would we rather see him on the field? I'dsay let him play why would we want to change things after stomping them into the ground!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybr Jerry J sent the guy down to start the fight to get PM off the field?

Funny! I nearly posted the exact same thought earlier. |

That would be funny as s#*t if that were true. :silly: |
Re: Pacman gets in fight
I'd love it if the story is true and Goodell boots his ass. Terrence Newman has a sports hernia and may miss the next 6 weeks too (ESPN - Source: Cowboys' Newman has sports hernia, may need surgery - NFL).. I can sense an impending implosion in Big D.
Grimace Phillips better be polishing up that resume and getting some boxes to pack! |
Re: Pacman gets in fight
Wow that was short lived.
|
Re: Pacman gets in fight
"Jones is Jonesing" for drugs and strippers and his babysitters are trying to prevent him from screwing up. More bad news for the cowboys on Terence Newman from an article on ESPN:
Compounding the potential consequences for the Cowboys is that Jones has been starting at left cornerback for Pro Bowler Terence Newman, who is attempting to confirm a preliminary diagnosis of a sports hernia injury that could sideline him for a minimum of six weeks if surgery is required. |
Re: Pacman gets in fight
It's a conspiracy. SOMEONE (Roger Godell) hired someone to start a fight with Pacman. Then Obama and the Democrats took payoffs while Bush looked the other way even though he knew it was coming, and originally Cheeny was going to come in at some point and shoot everything up but no one trusted him with a gun and then Al-Queda was going to use the opening to distribute leaflets explaining their ideology. All while AIG was planning to hold an emergency conference in the Bahama's. OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE THE NWO IS HERE!!!!
|
Re: Pacman gets in fight
It is a violation of the Goodell parole........SEE YA!
|
Re: Pacman gets in fight
This has got to be a lifetime ban right? A ridiculous signing and the Cowboys are getting what they deserve.
The larger story is that this team is ripe for implosion, just wait. They are coming apart at the seams. |
Re: Pacman gets in fight
I was really hoping for him to beat TOs ass in practice while tank johnson pistol whips romo. That's what I envisioned when they signed these guys anyway. (And if there's a cartoon artist on here that wants to make that happen...)

Re: Pacman gets in fight
I hope Jerry Jones gets diahrrea.
I hope Jerry Jones gets diahrrea.
I do not believe you are being fair as Wade is a man of his word. You are taking him out of context. The entire quote reads: "No runs on the Cowboys............more than 250 yards" |
Re: Pacman gets in fight
Wow, shocking news. Raise your hand if you thought Jones was going to never hit the news wire for some dumb off the field issue ever again.
|
Re: Pacman gets in fight
put a quarter in the arcade game and you get the real pacman game put a quarter in pacman jones and you don,t know what your gonna get under he decides it,s time.......typical is all i can say to this trouble maker..i saw it on sportscenter last night.. man it just never ends in dallas does it but thats their deal not ours thankfully.

I for one am shocked! Who would have thought that someone under the watchful eye of Michael Irvin would ever run into more trouble? |
Re: Pacman gets in fight
You know you're retarded when you have to have your employer hire 24 hour securtiy to baby sit your sorry ass. Adam Jones ought to be ashamed of himself just for that reason alone. And why is this loser out at 1am when he's got practice the next day?
|
Re: Pacman gets in fight
i know pacman did'nt get banned for drugs, but since he was suspended does he have to take more drug tests than regular players do as a term of his reinstatement?
if he is still allowed to drink, jerry jones is dumber than i thought for not putting a no drinking during the season clause in his contract.as of 1040am,i have still not seen anything about this on ESPN. |
Re: Pacman gets in fight
This took longer than I thought it would.
Goodbye forever, Trashman Jones. Now, we only get to watch Owens drama. |
Re: Pacman gets in fight
What Goodell does to Pacman is going to be a real big deal as now Neuman is out for 6 weeks. They already had coverage problems, and now their A-team gone?
Maybe Riggo called it pretty close..... "Sleep with the devil and you lose your soul" Have a nice day JJ |
Re: Pacman gets in fight
he's a genuine fuck up
|
Re: Pacman gets in fight
Unreal.. well, not really. If you lay down with dogs you're gonna get fleas.
