I was just about to post this then saw you already had.

I like the list, Im curious to see how brown and wild turn out

cpayne5 09-06-2004 03:57 PM

Interesting to not see Hamdan on that list. I thought he'd be on the PS.

MTK 09-06-2004 03:58 PM

I'm glad to see Rufus Brown make it. No Hamdan though, he's too much of a project. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes unclaimed.

McCullough didn't get picked up by anyone else. Looks like the rest of the league dropped the ball on him once again. ;)

That Guy 09-06-2004 04:17 PM

guess there's some bad knews for gibran then... thats a good list though.

BIGREDSKINFAN63 09-06-2004 04:20 PM

WS'NT SULTAN ON IT LAST YEAR?can a player be on it two years in a row?

That Guy 09-06-2004 04:25 PM

yeah, you can be on PS for two years, as long as you've only been on the active roster for one season, and in that season, under 9 games... (active, not "on the field")...

wolfeskins 09-06-2004 05:06 PM

sultan should be giving thanks to coach gibbs and the rest of the staff for keeping him around, instead of calling being put on the practice squad a slap in face.the only reason he's even in the nfl is becouse he played at miami and spurrier brought him in( undrafted ) i might add.

wolfeskins 09-06-2004 05:07 PM

correction, FLORIDA ,sorry

jdlea 09-06-2004 05:08 PM

The Skins should have left McCullough on the street.

wolfeskins 09-06-2004 05:13 PM

you got that right

Sultan came from USC.........

Hogskin 09-06-2004 05:53 PM

Boy, was I WRONG!!!!! I have been thinking (and posting) that there was no doubt Hamdan would be added to the practice squad...

giacomo2 09-06-2004 07:02 PM

i like the list of guys....good going coaches.

Maxdavious 09-06-2004 08:02 PM

I could be wrong but I think Sultan McCullough played at USC behind/along side Raiders' RB Justin Fargas. But you're right so far as saying that Sultan should be thankful he's in the NFL.

That Guy 09-06-2004 08:48 PM

i think gibbs saw there was no way he'd need a 4th stringer, especially one that's still that raw... the PS added depth where it's needed + scott/mcollough since they did well in the preseason... still wondering if simon was stashed on IR to prevent other clubs from taking him or something... they would have mentioned if the injury was really season threatening, and no one has...

nd i think you're right about mcollough being at USC... SS got him cause he was fast, not cause he was a gator. Spurrier got jacobs cause he was gator. (btw, loving what i've seen from jacobs in the preseason... he didn't look amazing in training camp, but he's fast and has good hands, seems like he could end up as a #2 eventually)

wolfeskins 09-06-2004 09:41 PM

i said sultan was from florida,ya'll are right ,he came from usc.sorry, thanks for the correction.

love them hogs 09-06-2004 10:56 PM

I think Simon is definetly being stashed away on the IR.Its a move right out of the old playbook.I am surprised that Rufus Brown made the PS wasnt he the back who just fell down in the end-zone and allowed an easy touchdown in the rams game?

That Guy 09-07-2004 12:40 AM

no, ralph brown fell down, he's gone... but in his defense, he was a 3rd stringer in single coverage of t. frikkin holt...
