It's Dallas week!
Time to put the Steelers game in the rear view and move on to more important things. It's Dallas week! What's your prediction for the game?
|
Re: It's Dallas week!
Pain.......
|
Re: It's Dallas week!
Skins 23
Cowboys 17 Romo throws 2 picks and leaves early after tweaking his pinky on a defender's helmet. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
A healthy Santana Moss returns to the Redskins, and he'll continue his cowboy killing ways. 100+ yards for Moss and 2 TD's. The skins put the steelers game behind them, and ROUT the cowboys at home, 34-10.
|
Re: It's Dallas week!
I'm nervous about this game, to be honest. But none of them punk Cowboy fans better be showing their faces around here. Bunch of weak ass wannabes talking shit for a whole week leading up to the first game then going into hiding over the past month.
|
Re: It's Dallas week!
When do the Skins show back up to practice from recovery week? It's too early to predict the game, but one thing is sure, they need this game to get them back on track. (and to dismantle the cowboys season as well).
|
Re: It's Dallas week!
Redskins 27
Cowboys 13 Campbell dissects the Cowboys and Rogers is motivated by the presence of DeAngelo Hall and returns a pick for a td. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Skins: 30
Girls: 17 Portis goes for 150 yards and 2 tds. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Don't forget, we are honoring Sean Taylor right before this game starts...
This time the players aren't still in mourning, they're going to be fired up by Sean's memory, ESPECIALLY Santana and Portis! I wouldn't be surprised if they throw up 40 points, multiple TDs for Portis and Moss, and 3-5 sacks on Romo at least that's my prediction |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Well hopefully the offensive line will give Campbell better protection this week and give him more time.
We only won by 2pts in the 1st meeting and they almost came back to win. It will be close usual heart stopping shit we go through every week. Skins 24 Dallas 21 The thought of us actually dominating a game and winning by more than 10pts has become much harder for me to envision the rest of this season :-( |

I think despite Dallas getting healthy, we still handle them this weekend. I'm gonna say 27-14 Redskins. |

No doubt. If we somehow lose and they suddenly show up here again, I want some serious mod intervention. I said it once and I'll say it again, the Dallas fans on this board do a great job of imitating their team- they run and hide at the first sign of adversity. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Home game, coming off the bye week. Skins are all healed up, ready to go, playing at home. And the Cowboys.. Well they're still the Cowboys (suckers). Skins will still be looking for blood after the Steelers blowout.

Re: It's Dallas week!
I really feel this game is make or break for us in terms of playoffs.
The NFC East will be pretty close if we lose and people are sleeping on the NFC South, which will most likely take away one wildcard spot from the East. Also people are expecting the Skins to not play well, especially our offense, so the team really has something to prove on the national level. The beating from Pitt should also be motivation. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
The Cowboys come to town, and catch the 'Skins in a nasty mood, having been embarrassed by their performance two weeks earlier on Monday Night Football against the Steelers. A healthy Redskins team comes out of the gate flying, and lays the lumber to the 'Boys from the opening whistle ...
Cowboys 10 Redskins 41 Shades of '86, you know !!! |

For the past few years i have booed, commented or givin a thumbs down to every cowboy gear wearing person i see or every van with cowboys flags i pass and since they were winning etc the argument was always alil one-sided . . . . now that they are an embarrasment of a team i dont see anyone weraing any cowboys gear and have seen a total of 1 car with cowboy flags the past 5 weeks compared to seeing 5-10 cowboy fans a day before the beat down in dallas. and yes, as much as liked the one cowboy fan who normally posted kinda objective good football talk i cant even remember his name he hasnt been here in so long . . . go skins!!! |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Like SmootSmack, I too am scared. I hope they learned how to score TDs over their bye week.
|
Re: It's Dallas week!
The dream scenario would be for CP to hit 160 rushing, Hall and Rodgers both getting a pick 6, 3+ sacks on Romo(not knocking him out though cuz I don't want to hear the excuses), and the Skins getting a double digit win. (JJ's face would be priceless!)

Re: It's Dallas week!
All of last years Cowboys Pro-bowlers are going to the Pro Bowl again...
It will not be because of their dominance in the league this season however. They are going to get an invite to Hawaii from this year’s Redskins pro bowlers so that they can fluff their pillows, serve those drinks, and hold up their Z-Shades on the sidelines, because they are just too soft to play this game. Skins win 37-3. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Enjoy watching Wade's final game at Fed Ex as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Re: It's Dallas week!
G1 - congrats on the win last night, your team is making a great defense of the title so far. (you won't mind if i don't root for you guys this week will ya?)

Nope just 3 or 4. Q how many Cowgirls does it take to wait on 4 Reskins? A 13. 1 to do all of the work and 12 to complain about shit not getting done. |

Now your talking! Those no good bastard's, BAN THEM ALL.....unless they come to eat some crow after the game! :) |
Re: It's Dallas week!
One thing though, it will be the Offense's game to step up. I have had absolute faith in our D this season, and this game will be the same. They will give up at most 17 points. And I always think they have shutout potential.

Re: It's Dallas week!
We SHOULD beat Dallas.
But will we win the all important turn over battle. Have we broken the seal on our int's, are many many more to follow? Will 20% of the stadium be blue and silver? |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Skins win
27-17. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Dallas' D is not the same caliber as Pitt, but I think it will still be pretty close.

The NFC south is going to get two teams and same with the East. If we lose we are going to be in a bad place. this looking a lot like the 7-1 Turner season, I am hoping I am wrong. Sorry for being a Debbie Downer. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
The problems in Dallas go alot deeper than the QB position. I think its a coaching and accountability thing. Check out this quote from Cowboys CB Mike Jenkins about his lack of effort late in the Giants game:
"I was just waiting on the safety to make a play," Jenkins said. "It just looked different. I really can't explain it." .......I wasn't the only one there," Jenkins said. "Everybody's pointing it out like it was me, but there was a safety back there, too."
Its also rumored that Roy Williams is upset about his role within the offense. This is a disfunctional situation that cant be cured by the return of 1 player. IMO all the Skins need to do is get on the Cowboys early and they will fold easily! |

This should be the Skins game to win. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
I'm calling the blowout.
28-10 Skins. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Both teams are going to be in a shitty mood after having their asses kicked 2 weeks ago. The key will be for the Skins to control the Cowboys DL (no easy task) and our DB's on their WR's. This game will determine our success for the rest of the season and it's huge for both. I say break Romo's pinky again!!
|
Re: It's Dallas week!
Coming off the bye week... Facing our big time rival... and a huge game to secure our name as a playoff team. I'm ready for this... i see homo feeling threatened and coming off the field or us forcing the girl out with an injury. a Cowgirls game with us is never a blowout, always a close game... so I'm thinking a good 24-17 skins game.
Horton is gonna make his next int this game. Portis is gonna earn back his number 1 spot for top rusher AND OUR FANS WILL BE INSANE (please & thankyou to those who do not sell your damn tickets to dallas fans) <3333 super excited. :) |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Don't get me wrong I like that everyone has faith in our team and is fired up for the cowboys, but lets be realistic...the Skins havent "Blown" anybody out this year AND this is going to be your typical NFC East battle with me having heartburn throughout the game and about to pull my hair out UNTIL the fourth quarter when we pull out one of our soon to be Classic Zorn comebacks.... 21-17 Redskins.
HTTR! |

HTTR!
your right. plus with the way our offense is playing i don't see such a high scoring game, just amazing defense & not letting homo through |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Now here is a funny storyline
TO Goes to Letterman This has gotta top Romo's trip last year, I just can't really believe they would let him go there during the week... |
Re: It's Dallas week!
FYI Darrell Green and Art Monk are being honored before this week's game, so make sure you get to your seats early. I'm sure they are going to give a speech to the team before they take the field, so we should be fired up.
Not just that but we need to come out after the Pitt game and show everybody we mean business. There's a lot of people that expect us to fall off the map in the second half and finish third or fourth in our division. It's basically time to prove ourselves all over again, and I trust Jim Zorn worked hard during the bye week to fix our problems and make us a better team. |
Re: It's Dallas week!
Big game for both the team and the fans.
Zorn gave everyone the week off last week. I hope the players took the time to "get their minds right" and are approaching these last 7 games with renewed purpose. I have been saying that this was a mentally tired team for the last couple weeks. The question in my mind is now: Are they rested and do they have the requisite sense of determination to run the table? Even if they don't do it, are they willing to do all the little things necessary to win? Will they remember the come backs against Philly and New Orleans and draw on them? Is their goal to get beyond the last game or simply get to the last game? Sunday, both the game and what the players say afterwards, will be very revealing. |
