Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
Anyone else think she is just making things worse for herself with this media blitz she's been on?

Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
News outlets call for interviews so she should turn them down?
|
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
I wish she would just get naked!
|
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
Im petrified that she may run, and win a national office. She scares the ever living hell out of me.
|
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
Leave the woman alone, she's a special woman in search of a heavenly cracked door. My family and me hope she's the face of the republican party for years to come. Also, she can ride the belly of my plane anytime.

Word. Plus I think one way she could go away on this board at least is to avoid starting threads saying "why won't she just go away" |

Sure, why not? She just keeps rehashing the same stuff, and it's becoming quite clear why McCain campaign advisors thought she was such a royal pain in the ass and a 'wack job' as one person put it. I don't see any good that's coming from all the coverage, other than self promotion, and in her case the less she says the better. |

Sorry I thought it was relevant since every paper I look at or news program I watch has some sort of Sarah Palin story right now. I can't be the only one that's sick of her. |
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
I wish the entire focus was now on moving forward with the Obama administration (starting with the selection of his staff, including his transition team). I get that there will still be talk about McCain, Palin, the campaign but I don't know that we here need to be proactive in continuing to discuss all that.

Yeah, I wish the same things on a national scale as well, but it's not happening there either as I was trying to point out. But for the greater good of society I guess The Warpath should set the example and discontinue any talk about this. |
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
The reason that she won't go away is because of people like mredskins.
If guys at a network do stories about pretty women doing a car wash for charity, it becomes pretty obvious that they were not following the story because of their charitable efforts. It's because guys like looking at women. When they do a story about a pretty woman who was almost VP, they can cover up their perversion a little easier, but in the end they still just want to follow a pretty face. All the while, most women don't care because they are actually buying into the Pro Women propaganda. Meanwhile men are still being sexist pigs staring at the television set. The crazy thing is that these days full on visual adult entertainment are free. Stories like these should not be taking place. |

Nah, just explaining the process |
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
Wouldn't you want to respond to attacks and allegations against you? I would hope so.
Why is this even a big deal? Everyone wants to get her side of the story, and I'm sure she want to give her side of the story. She's been the focus of the media over the last week since the election. There's nothing wrong w/ defending yourself a little, right? |

Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
Mark Foley is in the news again. Why isn't anyone talking about it?
|
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
It's not that big a deal. We're a "here and now" society. She just finished being a part of one of the most historic presidential races of all time. I think a lot of people, even those who have chosen to displace all of their life's frustrations onto her, may want to know just a bit more before she fades away and a new face is presented before us. It's her perogative to stay in the spotlight as long as it's pointing towards her.

Some people should just know when to shut up and let stories fad away. |

Palin reminds me of the William Hung of politics. She won't go away and she doesn't realize the joke's on her. |
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
As an independent who can't see myself voting republican in my lifetime... I hope Palin is around for a very long time. I hope she is the presidential nominee for the next 4 election cycles. Here's the thing, when someone can't tell you a single thing they've read in the last several months, when they can't name a court decision outside Row and when they don't know what the fuck Africa is... oh yeah, that's who I want batting for the other team every time, all the time.

Palin reminds me of the William Hung of politics. She won't go away and she doesn't realize the joke's on her.
Oh yes, the Governor of the largest state in the Union and an expert on energy is a joke... She has more experience than the President-Elect. |
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
Certainly, she has more experience laying on her back. I wonder if she has "on the knees" experience everyman can get behind.

She has more experience than the President-Elect.
The largest state in the union, with about the population of the city of washington dc. And dc elected a crack head to govern them. The experience thing is so played out. Why don't people who want to bitch about things that matter, like his phenomenal record for earmarks since he's been in the senate... or who was donating so much $ to his campaign and why... I voted for him but these were major concerns I had that no one was really addressing. All I keep hearing is the same regurgitated bs knocks that lost mccain the election. |

You do the left proud by saying crap like this. Sounds like something I heard in high school. |

You might want to read what you posted again. Show some respect. We know you don't like her but do you have to make comments like that for a cheap laugh? I don't like Obama or Biden (politically) but I certainly respect them as a person. |
