Time to realize this team has a lot of holes. I feel bad for our defense, they play well all game -- but they're on the field all game. Our offensive line, especially pass pro has been terrible. Jansen has been abysmal, but even Samuels has been getting worked hard as of late.

I noticed that as well, was going to mention it in the game thread.

It's becoming a weekly thing for the opposing team's fans to come in our house and dominate.

I'm sorry but Randle-El just doesn't cut it, neither does James Thrash, Thomas is incosistent due to being a rookie and Kelly... well that's a different story. I bought mine from a season ticket holder who had to be out of the country this week.

If you want to buy tix to ANY game at FedEx - even a playoff game - you can find them online at the various ticket brokers such as StubHub and Ticketmaster. I've even seen them on Craig's List.

There's a lot on CL. You wouldn't notice the other fans if the skins would take care of business.

Meks, were you there? If so, great and thanks for your support. If not, get to the game and stop complaining. It's insulting for season ticket holders to come on here after every game and see complaints about how terrible the fans are in the stadium. And on 4th and 4, what do you expect? Our fans aren't going to yell when we are on offense, so naturally you'll hear the opposing fans. I personally felt FedEx was awesome yesterday -- only problem was the team didn't give us a whole lot to cheer for.

i live in new jersey. no i wasnt AT the game, nor could i afford to make it to more than 2 home games a season... thats not the point here.

and i heard it loud and clear so did the rest of the ppl i was watching the game with..

not to mention a noticable cheer at the end of the game ....

Re: 4th and 4 ... chants of D-fense overtake the stadium...

The offense is getting worse as the season goes on. If the defense only gives up 14 points, we should expect to win handily.

Another thing, why do we always make stupid plays? I'm talking about Rock Cartwright downing the ball on the one yard line, then rolling into the end zone. Also, Rock's fielding of a kickoff and having it bounce off him out of bounds at the 13 yard line. I don't mean to single out Rock, because he's one of my favorite players, but the Redskins haven't been playing smartly the last few games, except for the defense.

I was there and we were loud. I didn't hear many cowboys fans were I was. (opposite endzone of the band) Most cowboys fans didn't really yell to much. I yelled as mush as possible and of course like after every game I go to I wont be able to talk to loud for the next couple of days. Anyway could have gone better considering i drove 500 miles on sunday to watch the game and just got home around 11.00 am.

There are 92,000 seats in Fed Ex...there are alwasy going to be visiting fans in the house especially when they play teams like Dallas & Pitt that have strong national followings. But as other people have commented before if the Redskins would play better at home we wouldn't hear them.

Re: 4th and 4 ... chants of D-fense overtake the stadium...

When the team started to tank it in the Preseason I guarantee alot of people sold their tickets off for whatever they could get for them. I know people who didn't want to go to the games because of the preseason and the Giants game. A LOT of tickets were sold then to whoever would buy the tickets. Think about the mark up. You can have a ticket that is $130 face value and end up selling it for 5 times that amount sometimes. People want to make a buck. It happens, unless your team isn't around anything. There are a lot of Cowboy fans in the area so it would've been fairly easy for them to get tickets.

What section were you in? I was in that same endzone, and while there were a bunch of cowboys fans at the game, there were less of them that I would have thought.

More to the point, I didnt hear much loud cheering for them until they sealed the game. Yeah, it's annoying, but sadly that's what you have to put up with as a fan of just about every DC team. If the Redskins were dominating year in and year out we probably wouldnt have to put up with it.

Why is that not the point? That's exactly the point. The blame for the number of opposing fans falls squarely on the home fans who choose not to go. Obviously lots of people can't go, and that's fine, but they certainly shouldn't complain. Its insulting to those of us that go to every game.

I wish I knew of these people paying 5 times the ticket price when I had my season tickets. I had trouble just getting face value.

Re: 4th and 4 ... chants of D-fense overtake the stadium...

Seriously...anyone who deosn't/hasn't had season tickets and therefore has never tried to sell them has no idea what they are talking about when it comes to the market for these tickets. Everyone ASSUMES they can get X amount of dollars for a ticket. Issue is that for every Dallas/Pittsburg ticket that is worth double face there are 4 or games worth almost nothing. The disparity is THAT MUCH. No one...NO ONE wants tickets to a St Louis game for anywhere close to face value because so many people just don't go. Supply drives the price way down. If you can take a pair of season tickets and sell them for face before the season you're lucky...very lucky. Usually you have to sell the pair for individual games and hop the monies from the big games counters the pantsing you take on all the others.

Yeah, I was at the game, and it was a good showing for the Skins' fans, in my opinion compared to the Steelers game. You're going to get opposing fans regardless, but it was a pretty good home crowd, IMO...just didnt have too much to get excited about.

Re: 4th and 4 ... chants of D-fense overtake the stadium...

I wasn't there but I think this is getting ridiculous. Even that lagger Bill Simmons was piling on the DC fanbase this week. There is no team in the league that doesn't consistently have visiting fans in their stadium. Moreover, in situations in which the home crowd is appropriately quiet (eg fourth and short) or just demoralized (after a loss) you will be able to hear this minority of fans. Cos, ya know, the stadium is quiet. This happens at Cowboys games and Patriots games and lots of places. While our homefield is not as intimidating as Pittsburgh or Kansas City, let's not turn us into Arizona or Oakland.

The Pittsburgh game was an anomaly, it doesn't mean we never have home field advantage anymore.

And you weren't even at the game? That makes this the dumbest thread in a long time.

Re: 4th and 4 ... chants of D-fense overtake the stadium...

Just to bring some simple point up...When our offense is on the field most people get quiet. Which means if there were 5 people chanting go Dallas they would probably be heard. Now multiply that by thousands for the Skins and a measly 5- 10 thousand Dallas fans. Our stadium holds what 90,000. 10,000 Dallas fans are nothing. and it also boils down to the Skins ticket holders selling out to whoever will pay. I could have gotten tickets for $150 a piece. To much for me but some idget Dallas fan might have paid that.

I was watching the anouncers in the parking lot interviewing people and they spoke with a woman from Pennsylvania who said she makes all the games cause they have season tickets. My first thought was ...what in the hell? but then thought it's not that far probably. but this is the problem when you move the team to MD and move it away from the very community it's named after. I know we have fans all over the U.S. but it sorta pissed me off cause at some point that fan may decide hey ...I don't feel like driving down there today cause I'm feeling sick or I don't care about the match up so let me give the ticket to whoever wants it or will pay me for it. which happens to be the opposing teams fan next time.

Yes agree 100%. The REDSKIN NATION was alive and well for this one! This was by no means a rehash of the burg mess.

It just didn't transfer to the field after the 1st half or 1st quarter for the matter.

good seats + ebay and sometimes craigslist posting in the opposing team's city

it's not gonna happen against the dolphins, but the cowboys it will.. i've seen very high up 400s go for a few hundred

Re: 4th and 4 ... chants of D-fense overtake the stadium...

that chant wasn't even that damn loud! There weren't anymore Cowboy fans there then in previous games!

You guys are blowing this out of proportion!

But, if you did want to know where the Cowboy fans got tickets..........they called the Redskins Ticket office. Maybe you all should try that for the Giants game. I mean, if you want less Giants fans there you should really think about trying it. I know I'm going to be doing that. But, I must warn you! It could be as much as $500 for two tickets!

However I wake up this morning to pacman being reinstated I mean c'mon how many chances can this piece of shit get, If you couple this with the refs on sunday nite you come back to the leagues love afffair with the cowboys, They are so popular so it's better for the league to have them playing well I'm calling shenanigans or however you spell it.
