DCPSR Player of the Game
DC Pro Sports Report would like theWarpath members, our partners, to pick our Player of the Game. We'll leave the voting go on until Wednesday and then the winner takes the weekly recognition.
Since I am not quite sure how to do a poll here yet (hey, it's new digs, give me time) just state it here in this thread and I will tally on Wednesday |
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
tell me your candidates and I'll set the poll up
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Clinton Portis.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis. The guy ran with absolute authority and heart today, battling through some obvious painful muscle strains and cramps.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
I really can't imagine this team even being .500 if CP was not on it. Besides the obvious running threat, he catches, blocks etc. When he is not in, or if the other team stops him, our offense just bogs down.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Comcast gave it to Sellers, and I could see that, except for the one drop! I still am aggravated he missed it... (yes i think it was a good call)
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
no doubt its portis. 143 yards on a bum knee, running from our own 4 yard line all the way to seattle territory to kill the clock. he was fantastic
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Without CP we would have lost this game. He came back in after taking a huge hit early in the game.
He is carrying the offense on his shoulders. |
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis without a doubt
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
CP for sure. but laRon's presence influenced alot of hasselbecks passes especially that last pick by springs. he threw it to the outside bc he saw laRon closing in for the knock out hit
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis with yet another clutch performance today.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
CP w/out a doubt. CP is one tough as nails SOB. I love the way he just slams it up in the pile when there seems to be nothing there. CP isn't the biggest RB in the NFL, but no one plays with more heart and no plays more physical than he does.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
26. Dude is as tough as any player I can remember.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis won it and shawn saved it
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis. The man defines Warrior.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
No doubt CP. Wow. Hope he holds up!
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis is a beast
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis, and obviously any award to a back also goes to the line. Well done.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
I voted for Portis, like just about everyone else.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
this was really a toss up for me... just a terribly hard choice :P
portis going away. |
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis by a mile.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Go to go with Portis!! He played like a monster again!!!
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
CP we are almost going to have to have a second place player named because CP is doing this every game.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis for sure.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis won the game. He was responsible for most of the yards, when the Redskins were trying to ice the game. He took one play off and Betts almost gave the Seahawks a second chance. Springs sealed the game with the interception.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis without a doubt...this vote should be unanimous.

Thanks for coming over and joining theWarpath.net Jon! One of the best we had at DCPSR and one of the best hailredskins use to see. |
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
I wanted to vote for Ramsey or Lavar but no one gave me an option.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis- Prime example: final drive 4th and inches and Portis got 5 or 6 yards when everyone in the stadium & watching on TV knew he was going to get the ball.
He is the man! |
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Hands down....PORTIS!!!!!
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Portis. Too easy.
Honorable mention for Springs for catching that INT after the Betts fumble to lock up the win. |
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Not even a second thought for this one. CP, is and has been the player of the game for us all year. He even sounds like he's getting a little cocky about it, I like it.
|
Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Guess we tapped this poll out. Thank you to theWarpath for exercising your right and contributing to the DCPSR Player of the Game poll for DCPSR. You guys and gals are awesome!
