Skins vs. Giants predictions
 

im just a camp scrub i shouldnt be starting this thread.
im over here in Jersey...all i do is deal with Giants fans...im a little reluctant about playin em and gettin swept. BUT...were nice....yea we got some O-Line problems lately...Fletcher& Portis are a little dinged....but we can beat these punks.. its virtually the same Giants team weve played for a couple years now and theyve never had our FULL NUMBER...AND THE TEAMS HUNGRY FOR PAYBACK!
(oh and i forgot to mention...we got a 12th man this week...S.T.)

This is gonna be a difficult one, but I think emotions are going to be running in high and might just push us over the edge. Prediction:

This is how I see it: The difference in this game for both teams will be the PASS RUSH, or lack thereof. Recenlty, the Gi-aint's haven't had it yet they are capable of bringing it. The Skins never had it and never will. Eli is the type u can't give time to throw.

It will probably fall somewhere in between. The only thing that would shock me would be a Redskins victory by blowout. I predicted a Malcolm Kelly TD last week, and I'll stick with that this week since we targeted him twice in the end zone vs. Seattle.

I'm not very optimistic. They will likely live in our backfield when we are on offense...and our defense won't be able to stop their offense in the 2nd half

When I think back on the first game, our D got stronger as the game went on. No one else has held the Giants like we did. That gives me hope. Jim Zorn has gotten better at game management (i don't think we will see a 6 minute drive down by 2 scores). Our offense has gotten more comfortable with Zorn.

Our Offense hasn't found the endzone alot, Their offense has. Our D's are exactly the same in "the only stat that matters" Both teams have allowed 199 pts. (i didnt check but I imagine special team points allowed is a wash). So:

ps -any chance kiwanuka or other ginats try to get alil revenge against smauels or others for what they thought were dirty plays?? I could see AP doing somethin even though in my mind hes a good player.

I have to say I'm sure glad I'll be eating my turkey thinking about a sweet victory that will becoming Sunday. I just don't get the people on this site that are just doom and gloom. We can beat the Giants and we will by a good size number. This is the week we get into the endzone first and often.

If we lose, no WAY we get blown out. It'll be close no matter what, but I'm going to go ahead and predict PAIN, SEAN TAYLOR-LIKE MOTHER FUCKING PAIN for the Giants.

No one is giving us a chance and we have risen to the occasion whenever no one gives us a chance. I think we will rise up on this occassion as well because we match up well with the Giants and we have beaten them under more difficult circumstances.

As much praise that Madden heaped on Eli that night (he did play a nice first half), our DBs had one INT and dropped [B]FOUR[/B] others, including a pick-6 by guess who (Rogers). We need to seize EVERY opportunity that they give us this time around to have any chance. I'm hoping that the emotion of the Sean Taylor remembrance brings out a playoff intensity in our guys.

The Giants are an excellent team, but I don't think they're 15-1 excellent. Someone will beat them before the regular season closes, and it might as well be us (we are one of the better teams they have to face and we're playing at home).

I predict Skins 32, Giants 19 -- and we break 30 points for the first time in forever.

I know that the coverage that night aggravated the heck out of me. The love fest for the Giants and not really seeing the way that our D eventually shut them down really made me mad. But there was not much you could say, because our offense didn't take advantage.(sound familiar). If you took out the opening drive of theirs[they came out way hyped, we came out flat], that game was tight all the way.

IF our Offense finds any rhythm we will win this game. BUT at this point I have to see it on the field once before I predict it here again. I kept thinking a breakout game was coming. Now I've moved to the Show-Me state...

i don't know what the score will be and i don't care as long as the skins win. the skins have 4 pretty darn good corners. the skins will play man defense, stop the run(for the most part) and win this game. :headbange

Giantone enjoy your turkey because your long weekend is going to end on a very sour note. Its not that the loss is going to hurt that bad but having Eli carted off and Buress injuring himself even more is goin to put a damper on your season.

I keep going back to the game a couple of years back after the Giants owner died. The Giants came out on an emotional high and stomped our butts. I believe the Redskins will come out spitting fire to honor his memory and give the Giants all they can handle. No matter who comes out on top this will NOT be a blow out. I'm picking the Skins to win this one. The Giants won't match our intensity as we need the win more and the emotional lift will be the difference.

Hey...stop being a negative nanny with the Karma!

This is the week Zorn throws the kitchen sink as well as all the dishes in it. Our 2 new young WR have a break out game a long with Moss, and for the first time we see what Davis can do in a 2 TE set. I predict 2 rushing TD's and 2 passing TD's to take us to the highest score we have ever seen the Skins produce, and in the end the Giants attempt to make a game of it....

Is this true? I thought the stadium only got used by soccer and baseball because we already moved into a new stadium.

and yea of course you make more money. you guys were screwing the jets!! but I cant say I blame you its good money.

I think your right SkinsnCanes.....RFK was used for baseball way back in like the what.......60's but when we lost the baseball team it was only football and occassional concerts I think. After we moved the owner had to find a way to make money so he let the soccer team use it.
