TJ Housh to Seattle
Wow, I'm a bit surprised. I guess Hasselbeck's back is better? Oh well, one less receiver for Danny to go after. LOL.

Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
Closer to his home in the West Coast, he did go to Oregon State.
|
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
Seattle will be much better now that Hasselbeck has someone like Housh to throw it to.
|
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
Good pick up by the Hawks.
|
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
I know he's old and washed up somewhat but I wonder if Snyder would contact WR Coles
again. LOL |

Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
He'll entice him with a big screen tv.

That will be part of the signing bonus. |
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
Good. Now we know that the skins don't want him
I know he's old and washed up somewhat but I wonder if Snyder would contact WR Coles

But he played well for the Skins when he was here. That Moss for Coles deal was a good one. Coles will get work and be very productive. |
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
Didnt he leave here on bad terms? Why would he come back here.

Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
TJ Whoseyourmoma is a baller. They just might not suck now that he's on board but then again the walrus won't be calling plays.
|
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
If a player agrees to a contract but has not signed it yet.....can he change his mind and go elsewhere? I guess the verbal contract is binding right? Just wondering if Snyder could woo him through the night. LOL.
|
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
good pickup.

Maybe in a court of law, not in the NFL. A John Hancock is required for oral contracts to be binding. I believe LaVar had an oral contract for 6.5 million he never saw. |
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
That is a good pick up for the Seattle Seahawks
|
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
^They need WR's bad and I don't mean just one either. Definitly a good pick up.

And that Gibbs didn't know how to use him. And that got Danny all pissed off! Danny even threatened to buy him a big screen TV so he wouldn't miss any of the games for two years and then cut him! That pissed Coles off! If anything he's going to the Eagles or Giants so he can play us twice a year. HE IS NOT GOING TO BE COMING HERE. There is no way! |
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
Coles is visiting the Bengals.

Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
He's going after the money, but I think he just wanted out of a dysfunctional team like the Bengals. Sure seattle isn't a winner anymore, but they have a decent front office.

That is an understatement. Seattle hasn't had a top notch wide receiver...well, I don't recall the last time...maybe Largent??? You have had some good ones over the years...but even the "good ones" had the dropsies and were not reliable despite putting up decent numbers. This was a solid need that has been addressed for the Seahawks. |

it's not the money most likely. i think the nation blog pointed out that seattle is the closest city to LA (his home) - only a 6 hour flight instead of 8 (MINN) or 10 (CINN). if he's taking that flight twice a week for the entire season... |

if he's taking that flight twice a week for the entire season...
I just don't see that as a valid option. What is the difference in 2 hours worth of flight to a guy that pretty much should have his own plane since he flys so much (who knows, he might already have one). I completely get wanting to get out of Cincy though...who would want to go there?? Not that it really matters...I'm sure he is elated to be in Seattle. |
Re: TJ Housh to Seattle
I wonder if this means they're going to forget Crabtree?

I think that's the biggest piece in all of this, how the draft is affected. |

Possible, after all they have some holes that need to be plugged in.. |

Well, he was certainly on bad terms with US...we hated the tandem of Coles and Rod Gardner...Coles had that nagging toe problem and Gardner used butter on his hands...we were actually wanting to see more of McCants. :D |

Not that it really matters...I'm sure he is elated to be in Seattle.
players make a lot of money, but they aren't that rich. and 2 hours x2 every week from offseason workouts through game 16 is a lot of hours, with the money being equal. |
