Marcus Mason is a local talent who played for Maryland if I'm not mistakened. Last year he had some outstanding carries in preseason with the Redskins and he was released and the Ravens signed him. I like this young guy. He has the ability to hit the holes and make the right cut to gain a good average per carry. Hope he makes the cut.

He is a RB/fan favorite that got cut last preseason. We let him go because we didn't want to hinder his talent by keeping him as a 3d or 4th back. He is good enough to be a 2d string back somewhere. if he was able to return kicks or punts, IMO we would have dropped Cartwright. He is a great pick up for the time being and I look forward to watching him, Colt and Marko in the preseason. Did i hear someone say bring back Buck Ortega?

Fan favorite. Played well in the preseason. Exciting to watch, but expectations of him seem unrealistically high

Still haven't found a solid link to post. Maybe he has to clear a waiver order something. But I done been told we got him.

Damnit, you people got my hopes up. well, I'll like the move if he can make the team and SAVE us money towards the cap. That would be kinda nice, maybe pick up Hill, Foote, or Levi Smith.... I'm a dreamer, haha a 200k savings wont get us much.

P.S. What are Betts and Cartwright making in '09?

You must have missed the preseason games last year. He made some solid yardage. I thought to myself, "Wow we should really sign this guy!" He was tearing some teams up although they were UDFAs.

He is a local guy but he didn't play for Maryland. He played college football at the University of Illinois and Youngstown State University. He starred at Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Maryland, where he became the all-time leading rusher (5,700 yards) in Maryland high school history.
