Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp

*bottom of post* Hope this is a good thing... |
Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
That is complete bull, gotta be conflict of interest if he is an agent for JC and Vick. Vick is obviously the more attractive client, and now Segal is in bed with VC...
|
Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
An agent stops by and visits with a team that he represents multiple clients from...
Seems like non-news to me. |

I guess posting is not for everyone LOL.
Dude it fine. First of all, I think Matty's post was more in response to my post. Secondly, a mod will lock the thread if there is a problem; as of now this thread is fine. Finally, if someone disagrees with your post/thread and you can't deal with it, maybe you shouldn't be on a forum in general. It is a slow work day for me..hah |

Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
from a purely financial motivation, Segal would certainly be more interested in finding out how Snyder is reacting to Eli's contract and using GTripp's stats to note how Campbell is ready to take this team all the way. Vick obviously is not going to be nearly as lucrative a contract as a re-signed Jason Campbell.

So GTripp is officially the "Stat Man of the Agents" now? |
Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
No matter what they, or anyone else says, the words "Michael & Vick" I am SURE were thrown around between Segal & Cerrato.
Having 5 players on the team already serves as the perfect blanket to cover any talks. Campbell is not having a lights-out camp thus far (neither are the backups)... I'm just thinking to myself... don't be SHOCKED... |

JS: What about Michael ? Sarge: We are talking about it aren't we? The answer is no. |
Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
There was also this in the same RI post:
JReid reports that, when asked about the possibility of Michael Vick coming to the Redskins, Segal replied: "No. No chance."
|
Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
So GTripp is officially the "Stat Man of the Agents" now?
Only Jason Campbell's agent. Not DeAngelo Hall's. |
Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
Yea, not much news here. I think I'm tired of hearing about Vick, steriods, the Yankees, and the Red Sox.
|
Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
Anyone know if Segal has an OT client that is being shopped in a trade?
Levi? If bad news continues on the OL during camp, I would expect danny & vinny to at least do some serious scouting for vets. |

Favre, Papi, T.O., Vince Young... |
Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
Segal has like five or six clients on the Redskins, this seems like a non-story to me

*bottom of post* Hope this is a good thing...
Well this thread might have some meaning if we knew he was there to talk with the FO about a contract for JC or if JC was his only client. Him just there would be stupid to debate because it would be based of nothing. Your thread title made it sound like he might be there for a reason and JC would be that reason but nothing points to that. You don't like it when someone points out that its a non issue but it just looks like a thread started to start a thread. |
Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
I don't know that everyone needs to jump all over the op for speculating that JC's agent is there to talk about JC.
I agree, it may be a non-issue, but that's why I wasn't going to post in this thread. |

Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
And there is the answer... Segal says "No way"
All I was saying was there is "no way" Vick DIDN'T come up in any conversation between VC & Segal... I am glad to hear it is settled 100% for sure (Oh wait, haven't people around Redskin Park said before someone definitely isn't being talked about, then they suddenly pop up?)... haha ... but in this case I do believe it to be true. My point was that Dungy, Vick's adviser, said that Michael was likely getting signed THIS WEEK. We all know Campbell is NOT being re-signed this week, so of course Vick is the more pressing issue to Segal at this moment. He shows up at Skins Camp THIS WEEK & you insinuate I'm crazy to think he was discussed? I'd be more likely to believe Segal asked how our QB situation was looking & Cerrato told him that, besides Campbell, Brennan IS looking better this camp & Daniels is improving every week, so therefore, there is no "desperate" need for Vick here. In the end, I was saying that I was just prepping myself for a "SHOCK" (being shocked by something means you didn't expect it to happen)... not a conspiracy... give me a break here. Agents talk about their free agent players to GMs (or so-called GMs in our case), and he has one that is looking to be signed the soonest. |

Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
I'm watching a repeat of the HOF game, just saw the fake punt with Trapasso...pretty sweet play.

YOU ARE SOOOOOOO LATE! This has already been determined. Get a life and stop worrying about little things. "This looks like a reply issued just to issue a reply." |

Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
Hey man, I'm just saying, if you don't like it, don't reply. It seems as if you don't have a life if you have nothing else to do but knit pick at things on a Redskins Forum. Just saying...

Re: Joel Segal (Jason Campbell's Agent) is at Training Camp
chrisl13: don't be so thin-skinned. It's no big deal. It's only become an issue because you're making it one. We still have love my man.

You know last week you started a thread title "Devin Thomas to Start Opposite Santana" or something along those lines. When you were called out on the misleading thread title your first reaction was to get defensive and say "Get a Life" You've done the same thing again this week. What's the deal? You can't get so defensive like that. |

just more insurance that we're not going to get Vick

You are an idiot, as you are missing the point. It is not BAD to have threads people do not agree about, etc. Why do you need to be accepted/right all the time? Nothing is wrong with being wrong or thinking something else is important. A thread is not a success nor a failure based on those things. It is just a freaking thread. In the grand scheme of things, it is meaningless. Don't take life too seriously or personally dude. |
